For me in Trails Series there's no best arc in the series, because all them are the best!
Just play them all, whether you started from Trails Of Cold Steel 1 like me way back 2016 or an old fan, incoming players. The more you play the more curious you get about who the character is, where they came from, most importantly the story

Well - Don't be ashamed. I nearly escaped that fate, because I bought Cold Steel 1 on a whim (I just thought it looked interesting, so why the hell not). Only a half hour in I noticed from comments in the sales platform's forum, that it was in fact the 6th game of a complete series. So I thought about it for a while, and decided to put Cold Steel I on hold and start with the Trails In The Sky series First Chapter. I was put off a little by the far more "primitive" graphics, but after only a few hours in those graphics did not matter any more, because I was fully sucked in by the story of Estelle and Joshua. I am really happy I made that decision, and could experience that massive story all to the end with Trails Into Reverie. And now only a few day's until Trails Through Daybreak...😉
Anyone freaking out about PC the sky games can run on a literal toaster. Just get an ok rig for a cheap price, and you can probably run these games with good performance.
My best friend told me that this series is like Thousand Arms and closer to Xenogears

Given they're releasing DB2 in EN in Feb 2025, maybe we'll get Kai no Kiseki later in 2025?

There is a way to play trails in the sky 1st chapter the 2nd and the 3rd I bought all 3 copies from Japan and used a walkthrough on TH-cam and played them with trophies

I guess im never touching these games until they're accessible on PS5 :/ its definitely stopping the series from being able to grow its audience.

Even if it's a low end it can run most of the game

Falcom isn't really known for remastering their games so the chance of the happening is very low they only port their games to modern platform
@@BLAZER_VABesides when they did exactly what for the PS4 version of… Zero, Azure Cold Steel I & II and Ys Memories of Celceta… And Ys Memoire The oath in Felghana on Switch, PS4 and PS5, and the rumored Sky trilogy remasters.
They just take their time with those releases.

Saying PC isn't a modern platform is like saying humans aren't animals. People might not like playing on PC, but that's on them, not on the developers.

I like playing my games on pc mainly because most game get ported to Steam I don’t really have the cash to but multiple consoles but still not every trails game is available on all consoles
An example would be Xbox
@@BLAZER_VA You said the Sky Trilogy isn't on a modern platform. If you meant modern console (and I think you did), you should have revised the script before recording it. Or revised the video before uploading it. On that note, the video really needed an editing pass on the script, the terminology was all over the place.

I did said modern consoles I never said modern platform, because I know PC isn’t just used for playing video games like gaming consoles
@@Javifaa many people said they found the video useful despite my poor editing skills so I think it’s fine but there are other TH-camrs who go more in depth in the seires than me like the Kiseki Nut so I recommend his channel
My video is just for people who want to play it in the chronological right order that are localized and nothing more
