    I went to SERE school in the army. It was cute. Quite fun actually. I knew it wouldn’t be bad because my uncle, who was a Vietnam veteran and spent 6months as a pow, told me it would be a joke. He told me after they ripped off his fingernails, put rats on his open wounds and beat him nearly to death on multiple occasions, that whatever bullshit they want you to say. You’ll say it. He told me SERE would be like tickling compared to what will happen to you if you are really captured.

      War now is just a political game of chess with peoples lives so you can't really use that form of interrogation. In the case of a actual war, these would be the main ways of interrogation. Also they can't rip of recruits fingernails and beat them to near death but they can train the mental side, so that is what they do, train what they can.

    • @einherjar1133
      @einherjar1133 2 ปีที่แล้ว +53

      It means that no one will say that they are the Umpire. They will play other tricks to confuse you, but that one they will not do. Psychologically, it's important that they know that someone will be there who isn't trying to trick them. During sleep deprevation, you may hallucinate and the mind must be protected during this to a certain degree.

    I reckon I could handle this level of interrogation. This looks like child's play? I could endure 4 hours of that noise and be fine, take my kit off? Like I've never had people mock me before just to get a reaction... the question "what are you doing here?" Would get the answer ON FUCKING HOLIDAY SUNSHINE, WBU? I grew up knowing that no one likes a grass and that's when it's just who is shagging who on the street, not a sense of national security.

    Now that everything, I mean everything is in TH-cam an interrogator can say hey dip shit I know your drip feeding me! I watch the same little SAS video too! Then you both take a selfie together because you find something in common. (Sarcasm) .
    Basically social media has really infiltrated the battle field! I mean even in all the conflicts around the world , I'm seeing soldiers dancing and doing challenges and shit when they supposed to be locked in! I'm seeing them in bunkers and trenches taking videos while being shelled! Now this.. yea just show the world how SAS interrogation training goes..

      Id disagree in an interrogation setting a woman would be a good person to have on hand as they are perceived less threatening than men. For interrogation purposes somebody who could make your person feel more at ease after they have been hammered by questions from a threatening or imposing male figure. It could be somebody that a person being put through the ringer could feel like they could confide in. I guess different tactics for different people to in the end reach the same goal.
