    Derek Prince is the best teacher/preacher at explaining in detail and he does in so many biblical subjects and uses much scripture as he teaches/ preaches he is the best I have ever listened too in my 72 yrs and it has helped me to understand more than I ever have and live a much better christian than I ever would have without his teachings. I thank God I found him and can learn so much and I'm so grateful for the privilege. God bless those that post his wonderful teachings.

      This is so encouraging to hear the difference it made in your ñife. I thought I was born again 20 years ago and got baptized then. I know now that I am truly born again, but never could identify the moment. Holy Spirit only just clearly revealed to me that it occured 10 years ago. He showed me the moment. I always knew something had happened, but I didn't know I just got born again because I thought I already was. It means that I got baptized and was not born again. So I will surely correct the disorder now. Praise God for His faithfulness to His children.

      Three things to write.
      1. You are only born again once, when one trusts in Jesus Christ.
      2. Water baptism doesn’t save one. It’s just water.
      3. Baby talk is not “tongues.” Tongues refers to discernible, translatable languages.

    For those that are enduring thinking I can't handle much more so soon we will be saying I can't believe it all went so fast. We will say I can't believe I was so worried. A vapor. Caught in a vapor soon to be blown away by the next breeze. Worried for a short moment. Endured for a short while. For he suffered for us first, and don't ever forget that you're NOT ALONE!!!!
    Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
    Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
    Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

    Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

    Is water baptism for the Church the Body of Christ? What did OUR (!) apostle Paul say about baptism in this dispensation of Grace?
    1. Corinthians 1
    14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
    15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
    16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
    17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
    1. Corinthians 12
    13 for by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
    Ephesians 4
    4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
    5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
    6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
    Do you know what the Ministry of reconciliation means?
    It takes two for the process of reconciliation. God made the first step: He reconciled himself to the world. He would never reconcile himself to sin. So what did He do?
    Christ paid the price for the sins of the whole world. That was the necessary atonement, directly followed by God forgiving the world all trespasses.
    Today, sin is not imputed to anyone, ALL sin was put on Christ, buried with him. When Christ rose again, all sin stayed in his grave and is not ever to be re-imputed to anyone in this dispensation of Grace.
    That's our good news of today the Gospel of our salvation: the work was finished on the cross, once and for all. Now sin is put out of the way between God and man. Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏
    Now it's your turn: be ye reconciled to God. Believe that all your sins were forgiven by God when Christ paid the price for every single sin.
    This is salvation today: believe, your sins were completely forgiven on the cross when you were His enemy,as the sins of the whole world were paid and forgiven there.
    Believing that, trusting in Christ alone is what saves you today. In this very moment, Christ's righteousness is imputed in your account, by His spirit you are baptized into Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, eternal life and all spiritual blessings are yours, you are a new creature, a member of the church, the Body of Christ, your Destination is heavenly places.
    Paul, our only apostle,did not say one single word in all his 13 epistles how to get your sins forgiven. Because salvation is to believe they already are.
    This is our ministry, Ambassadors for Christ, ministers of reconciliation. Share the good news that God has forgiven all the worlds sin and is not imputing them, today is the day of salvation!
    Check out also "truthtime Radio", it is very edifying ❤️
    Grace and peace 🙏❤️

    Romans 6
    6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
    2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
    3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
    4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
    5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
    6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
    7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
    8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
    9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
    10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
    11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

    Many religions and doctrines believe that in reference to baptism, Jesus is referring to water baptism. This explanation is not satisfactory because if Jesus is referring to the Christian baptism, how was Nicodemus supposed to understand this concept? In John 3, baptism is nowhere mentioned. In fact, nowhere in the Bible are we told to do anything or work for salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, For by grace you have been saved through faith. And no this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
    In John 4:2, we are told that Jesus did not baptise people. Water baptism is an outward sign of being given the gift of salvation and not a requirement for salvation.
    In Luke 23:40-43, one of the criminals crucified next to Jesus says, Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus replied, Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise. There was no requirement for baptism here. Born of water refers to the natural birth. Amniotic water which we floated in and when our mother's water broke, we were born into this world. This is the natural birth. We must have a physical birth first, just like everyone else, and the second must be a spiritual birth, which is a work of God and that's being born again.The problem with the interpretation of religion and doctrines is that there are no references to such a thought in the Old and New Testaments. Especially with Jesus’ teaching to Nicodemus. Since Nicodemus was a teacher of the Law, there has to be something from scripture to reveal this truth from scripture. In fact, Nicodemus was confused by this statement from Jesus and asked in John 3:9, How can these things be? Jesus responds in John 3:10, saying, Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?
    We must be born spiritually in the heart just as we are born physically. Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
    As a baby does not contribute to the birth process, it's the same with the spiritual birth since it is a complete work of God according to Ephesians 2:8-9

      Art. Ive been listening to many different sources on baptism. The very fact that the church cannot agree as to what baptism signifies or accomplishes, or who should be baptized, or how-and the disagreements are many and deep-is evidence that there is something wrong with the observance of this rite by members of the body of Christ. Assuming, only for the sake of the argument, that water baptism is included in God's program for our day, it cannot be denied that the church, after 1900 years, still does not know what Scriptural baptism is. The confusion as to the subject is appalling.

      Further, please read Romans 1:16-23
      16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
      17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
      18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
      19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
      20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
      21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

      You can be baptized by having water poured over the head 3 times (doesn’t have to be full immersion). This method is outlined in the Didache, which is a 1st century church document which gives practical guidance on how to baptize.
      Everyone should be baptized, because baptismal regeneration seems to be old default opinion.

    Ananias told Paul it would wash away his sins (Act 22:16). Peter said it was a step that was necessary for the remission of sins and that it saves us (Act 2:38; 1Pet 3:20-21). That’s why he commanded it (Act 10:48). Paul likened it to spiritual circumcision and a burial with Christ (Rom 6:4; Col 2:11-12). Under the Old Covenant circumcision was essential to be one of God’s people (Gen 17:14). One reason Paul called it circumcision because it’s of equal importance to be obedient to Jesus’ command to be baptized (Mar 16:16). Paul makes the statement that God’s people are those that have received this spiritual circumcision, which he clearly believes to be performed during water baptism (Rom 2:29).
    The blood of Jesus is present in the water if it’s performed in His name. It’s a New Testament RED SEA experience which EVERYONE had to go through to get out of Egypt (1Cor 10:1-2).

    There is only one baptism that saves you and that is the baptism of the Holy Spirit… you can pick and choose verses you must read the entire Bible… If water baptism is part of Salvation you sir have hard time explaining in Acts when people start speaking in tongues and received the gift to the Holy Spirit before even being baptized in water. Even Peter remembered what John the Baptist preached “ I baptize you with water, but there is one miter than me whose sandals I’m unworthy to tie he will baptize with the Holy spirit and with fire… Do not add anything to the work of Christ NOTHING. Baptism and water is important. It is the first step of obedience, but it has nothing to do with receiving salvation.

    Herein lies the issue I have with proponents of water baptism. They think that when the bible mentions the word baptism (i.e. the passage from Romans in the video) that it is synonymous with water. This passage in Romans makes zero mention of water. If the word baptism was synonymous with water why did John the baptist have to clarify that his baptism was with water? John would be saying I immerse with water with water - if it was synonymous.

      The blood is the atonement. We’re saved through the blood. But Jesus did more than that- He allowed us to live right by putting the old man to death through baptism. Read Romans 6, then read it again. I read it every day. This is why Jesus is called the Second Adam. We become a new creature, but we have to die to do it. Baptism is no mere symbol- and the Bible says no such thing. Those are doctrines of man taught as canon, but you will find it nowhere in scripture. However, the Bible plainly states that we access the death and resurrection for the purpose of living right by baptism.
      So again, the blood is for redemption, the baptism is for holy living.

      I agree the water separates you from your past but I think the blood is for washing the guilt of your past sins. I think the Israelites departure from Egypt the next day after Passover symbolizes repentance for the believer - you have to depart from your sins before baptism. The Israelites departed from Egypt and encountered the obstacle of water and they needed a supernatural intervention from God to be truly free - which is what baptism does. We have to do our part in repentance by doing the initial "departing" but we also need supernatural intervention to keep our commitment because as slaves of sin, we need deliverance from slavery.

    Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit)
    Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. (Acts 10:38) The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church?
    The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again)
    Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
    Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
    (A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.)
    Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
    (See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment)
    ============
    Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
    What did Peter say below?
    Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
    Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
    Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water/ every time they read the word "baptize" in the text.
    Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
    Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
    Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
    Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
    Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
    Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13)
    “baptize” KJV
    Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
    Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
    Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.)
    Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
    Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
    Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
    1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
    1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (See Eph. 4:1-5)
    Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (Old Covenant ----> New Covenant)
    How many people have been saved by the Old Covenant water baptism of John the Baptist?
    Who did John the Baptist say is the greatest Baptist that ever lived in Luke 3:16? What kind of New Covenant baptism comes from Christ?
    Hebrews 9:10 Old Covenant vs. New Covenant
    (ESV) but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.
    (Geneva) Which only stood in meates and drinkes, and diuers washings, and carnal rites, which were inioyned, vntill the time of reformation.
    (GW) These gifts and sacrifices were meant to be food, drink, and items used in various purification ceremonies. These ceremonies were required for the body until God would establish a new way of doing things.
    (KJV) Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

    (NKJV) concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.
    (NLT) For that old system deals only with food and drink and various cleansing ceremonies-physical regulations that were in effect only until a better system could be established.

      Exactly 💯 for me water baptisim is a physical representation but not a requirement. I have been water baptised and it was made very clear to me that it was not for my salvation because I was already Born Again but that it was a confirmation of my belief, symbolising the death, burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was also a requirement to be baptised in order to join the church. I did it it with a glad heart, filled with love, awe, humbleness, and utter belief in Jesus.

    I don't get it, why start off in the spirit and finish off in the flesh? Isnt the true baptism the baptism by spirit and fire? Water baptism is the baptism of repentance. It's your faith and your confession and the spirit of God not the actual water that does any work on you

      KD, agreed that the water itself does not effect anything. The going in and out of water I believe is more of an illustration of what is happening in you at your baptism- which is your death to the old self and rise to a new life. God commanded us to make our confession/pledge this way. I'm not sure why He chose this way but He did and we can trust that His plan is best

      @@jamesokwara1443 so you're telling me of I was in a desert with no source of water I wouldn't be able to make a confession? It's not required that you need someone there to hear it, and it's not required that you need someone there to dip you, it's not required that you need physical water. I assure you Gods grace and good news means that you can be any where in the world and be able to receive the life of Christ because God looks at your heart and your confession to Him alone.

      @@kd8887 If you were in a desert with no water of course you can make a confession. However if you were to get to some water the Biblical pattern shows that it would be the normal thing to get baptized. Consider the ethiopian eunuch story in Acts. You do need someone to dip you, as far as the Bible goes. In Matthew Jesus says go and make disciples and baptize them, not tell them to baptize themselves. At the end of the day, God has laid out in scripture how we are to do things and as followers we are to obey and honor that, not make our own methods or assumptions. That said, God is a merciful God not bound by means and He can accomplish what He wants whenever, however. But if you're able to follow His instructions and you love Him, why wouldn't you?
