1. the opponent dragged by a taxi to the next area
2. the opponent thrown into a water tank

That is the perfect stage switch event, from buildings to towers to the ground than the bridge. It is a shame they forget Cairo.
I think reason being they decided to not use Cairo as a destructible stage is because the city is quite a religious place for muslims and theyd probably offend a bunch of people with the destruction of it. When the original manga was released, the artist had to modify various buildings in the background due to backlash from the religion
What about the stage transition in Times Square where you get launched up a skyscraper and onto a roof?

@@vegitoultrainstinct4572 yes its better than some games but it didn't live up to the hype and thats why complain. Tell me, when you buy potato chips, do you want to get the product they promise you or do you want a bag full of air and just 1 potato chip? Ofcourse you want the full product, and for example Lays fills half the bag if not more with just air so the product looks better. Thats called misleading.
The exact same thing happened with jump force, they announced a beautiful story and great gameplay. What did we get? A trash story and basic gameplay with tons of issues. The only thing they can deliver is mew characters and think it will fix the gsme, well it wont. Thats why i'm being ungrateful because i got scammed

if they successfully do the area change to you.. your icon gauge is gonna drain if your the one who's getting hit or (getting beat up)

Some transitions are great, some seems just uninspired...but the same can be said about most of the art style in the game.
They should have redesigned all characters in a common art style...

Because characters looks uncanny valley bad? The geometry and proportion are very similar to the original manga design, but the materials try to forced a semi-realistic shading put in a pbr engine that only exagerate the problem... Also since those characters are based on different manga by different people the characters visually clash with each other.

Kôen Dono the main story is fine, but leaves a lot to be desired.
The key/side missions are rather boring

The stage are mixed together with the real world and the jump worlds so that's kinda hard😹
There are locations from both the real world and anime, however all locations will share a single element from either the real world or any of the anime featured.
Real World:
-Matterhorn (Merged with Dragon Ball)
-New York (Merged with Naruto)
-Hong Kong (Merged with One Piece)
-Paris (Merged with Saint Seiya)
-Mexico (Merged with Bleach)
-Japan (Merged with Fist of the North Star)
-San Francisco (Merged with Naruto)
-New Zealand (Merged with HunterxHunter)
Anime:
-Planet Namek from Dragon Ball (Merged with New York)
-Hidden Leaf Village from Naruto (Merged with London)

Is there a sequence or method to make area changes happen consistently? I played the beta and ONLY pulled off two with Kenshiro.

Have 50% awaken meter
Hold heavy (triangle)
Then hold light (square)
Stage transitions also depend where you are on the map. So it just depends. *some stages don't have transitions

How do you do stage transitions
You need to have at least 50% of your meter and hold triangle/Y and the hold square or X depending on the console

This game was good, but felt so, unfinished, like if they worked on it more, it could've been J-Stars Victory 2 with custom character creation.

Ultimate Charge at 50% or higher
Do a perfect medium attack (triangle on PS4, Y on Xbox One) (hold the buttom until the character makes a red glowing) and after that make a perfect light attack (square on PS4 and Y on Xbox One) (the same, hold the button until red glow).
There are Stage Transition and Stage Destruction (Transition makes damage to the opponent as changes the arena, the Destruction makes damage and forces the opponent to change character)
