Yeah. At minimum there should have been a talk with him FIRST to try and address it. If he's that good already, a few months to get back on track is 100% worth it so long as he's improving week by week.
Agree. I lost my husband and my mother back to back. Grief is a long journey. That girl is going to be hit with a karmic reality when it is her enduring a loss and learn her lesson the hard way. Of course a 22 yr old kid who lost both parents suddenly would struggle far longer than a month.
Yea Jesus. 1 month for the death of both parents? Yea no. It seems as if no one can put themselves in other ppls shoes. This is devastating, would work be on my mind? Nope.
Welcome to the modern business landscape. When any job posting has 2 thousand responses (mostly unqualified IK) it doesn't feel that hard to drop one person and get a new one like you are getting a new outfit. Its pretty gross but lots of businesses do that.

@@cassiopee26 yeah, there's an update where they talk a few days later and he's like "when are you gonna come clean this up" and she's like "you left it there?! That's fucking disgusting." It's hilarious.

Hot tip from a 17 year banking industry worker in the U.S.: You absolutely 100% CAN give someone else permission to not only use your credit cards and debit cards but they should also even sign their own name. This is not fraud, it only becomes fraud if they sign your name, hence signing their own name, but even if the credit card company flags this and calls you about it, all you have to do is say “I gave them permission” and it’s all gooch. ❤❤❤❤

I feel like there is also a chance that she felt like the boyfriend was trying to hide it from her for some reason and she was annoyed about that, but maybe I just completely misread. feel like that's an odd thing to never bring up when dating someone for seemingly a not insignificant amount of time if the parents are meeting

the story about the 22-year-old whose parents died is a reminder to stop being loyal to companies and businesses because they'll get rid of you at the drop of a hat it reminds me of a job I worked two years ago (I was 18) despite being the youngest I was praised a lot of the time for my performance, I even worked while I was really sick with Covid and I asked for only two days off because of a loss and after getting a phony "I'm sorry for your loss" this woman asks when I can make those days up because I'm one of her top people and she wants me on for as long as possible and this is the same job that acted shocked when I wanted to leave and manipulated the hell out of me, I still left them in the dust🤣

When my mom passed I was in the middle of a shift at my job; my dad called and told me the news and I had to call my boss, crying, and tell her I needed to go home because I'd just found out my mom had died. Her only response at first was an annoyed "oh my god." She came in to cover for me so I could go home and be with my family, but she made it seem like I was making her life difficult. THEN she made me practically BEG her for time off to go to the memorial service, and only gave me a single afternoon off; no bereavement time or anything. This same boss would whine about how she "lost sleep" and cry crocodile tears at meetings because she "couldn't" give us our time off requests. She then waited until the day the schedule was due for a week I'd requested off FIVE MONTHS IN ADVANCE to text me like "oh I'm doing this week's schedule, what day was it you'd wanted off...?" Like why even have people put requests in in advance if you're not gonna bother even TRYING to make coverage for it?? I had to drive my sister to the airport and watch her cry as she got on the plane without me because she was so hurt that I wasn't getting to go with the rest of the family on the trip. Still, it’s fun to read and see opinions as long as you’re basically treating it as a hypothetical instead of a real story. About the gay dads- Mike probably didn’t say anything because to him that’s normal for him. People automatically assume parents are their birth parents or straight or something else, so Bella assumed and Mike didn’t know that, and she probably never asked about his parents. If my parents were gay I wouldn’t say anything because those are my parents and idc if they’re gay
Right!! I have straight parents but still, you don’t really talk about your parents with your S/O often, I’ve dated a girl for 3 years once and rarely mentioned my parents to her
