Love how a lot of these runs he's running over Hall of Famers like Urlacher and Ray Lewis. This man was awesome!

seeing ray lewis, steve atwater and john lynch not be able to tackle him shows how special the bus was. those are 3 heavy hitters

Jerome Bettis one of the coolest human beings I have ever cheered for in my life!"The wheels on the Bus goes round and round"💯

As a big dude i always wanted to be a running back because of Jerome Bettis. He was my all time favorite player. Its dope to know he was a good guy off the field too.

When he trucked defensive league mvp Urlachy at the goal line, in the snowy mud, for the td after running over three bears to get to him. Nuff said.

This man is a legend. Feeling like he was the end of an era for how running backs need to be built.

I cried when he retired. They were mixed tears of sadness and yet tears of joy for him because he went out on top and finally got his Super Bowl ring. The opening tributes from his teammates & Coach Cowher also had me in tears. He gave so much love to his teammates and they had so much love and respect for him. So heartwarming. Great tribute video.

When you think of Steelers football , defensive players usually come to mind first. But to this lifelong Steelers fan Jerome "The Bus" Bettis epitomized hard nosed Pittsburgh football. He had the fastest feet and great agility for such a big man. An icon for the team, and an awesome individual off the field as well. Man, I miss watching his celebrations after a big play. The current team sure could use a player of his caliber right about now!

It’s still hard to grasp how nimble, agile, fast & strong he was at his size

Super Bowl XL was the first Super Bowl I remember watching when I was a little kid. I didn't know anything about the teams but my dad told me he was rooting for the Steelers because of Jerome Bettis, so that's what I went with too. After learning a bit more about him throughout the game and seeing the poetic ending to it all, I was hooked to football for life. I'll never forget that. I thank Jerome Bettis for instilling a love of football in me. Thanks for this video, it was very well done and brought back a lot of memories.

This is a real Steeler. Both on and off the field. I wasn't old enough for his glory days, but my family always talked about him when we would talk Steelers.

I’m from Detroit. My mom’s family is from Pittsburgh, where the Terrible Towels were considered essential home decor. My aunt and uncle, especially, turned me into a Steelers fan. I was 10 in 2006, and I can still remember sitting on their couch watching Roethlisberger take Nick Harper down by the ankle. Harper had just been stabbed the day before the game too. I was so pumped that Bettis, Polamalu, Ward and the rest of them came to my hometown to win the super bowl. I remember watching Bettis announce that the last stop was in Detroit.

Man, when Madden 1st added trading to its game, I being a STEELERS fan always went and got Bettis from the Rams. I dont know I always liked his game& then Lawd have mercy, my little son was 9 years old called and said "Dad , did you hear"? " Hear what"? "The STEELERS got Jerome Bettis"!!! " Son please dont play with ol Dad" .....'Dad turn on ESPN " and there it was, I couldnt believe it, my main man now on my squad, after suffering through the losses of Bam Morris, and other backs we hadnt had one good back in a lonnnnnng time, and now here we go! That is why losing LeVeon Bell now hurts so bad and one day he is going to realize that, now he is just a back that's good , when you are a STEELER , THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU FOR LIFE !!! Ask Santonio Holmes, Donnie Shell, and others ,and we arent a big market team, yet , we count !!! BECAUSE WE HAVE INTEGRITY AS A TEAM !!!And we believe in people 1st and money as a part of life thats needed, yet we dont love it, WE ....R the STEELERS .
