Who are Jai Dog Rescue?

Here at Jai Dog Rescue, we work hard to ensure the dogs in our care and throughout our neighbouring provinces are well cared for. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to transform the lives of street dogs in Thailand!
Our work focusses on 4 main aspects:
👉 Rescue and Rehabilitation
Dog rescue is at the heart of everything we do. From injuries caused by road accidents or dog fights, to victims of disease, neglect or abuse, we are on hand to assist with any emergency that arises, providing specialist care and rehabilitation. By the end of 2023 we estimate we'll have rescued and treated over 700 dogs (since founded in 2017).
👉 Sterilisation and Vaccination (CNVR)
The stray dog population in Thailand is out of control. The only ethical and effective way to reduce the number of dogs on the street and improve the quality of life for those already suffering life as a stray, is via wide-reaching spay and neuter campaigns. Jai Dog Rescue in partnership with ‪@batterseadogsandcats‬ have committed to sterilising over 80,000 dogs by 2026.
👉 Local Rehoming
We give as many street dogs as possible the opportunity to find a new loving home through our rehoming service. Those in the greatest need that are unable to be rehomed can find sanctuary and solace with us at the Farm.
👉 Community outreach projects supported via Jai Aid
We work closely with local dog carers and shelters to provide for the stray dogs in their communities. This includes emergency care, food, medication, supplies and facilities.

I don't mean to be rude but the people in Thailand and Bali are extremely cruel to the street dogs there I've seen many videos of this

There are sadly cases of cruelty towards street dogs everywhere in the world. We're lucky to work in a province that deeply care for the animals that live around them, with most dogs being cared for everyday by local feeders who continue to monitor their health and alert us at the first sign of trouble. We have a very good relationship with our local communities and we hope that through our work, which aims to sterilise and vaccinate over 75,000 dogs in the next 4 years, and through our education initiatives that this will all contribute to a future generation of animal lovers and less dogs on the street 💚

There an estimated 8 million stray dogs living in Thailand alone and this number exponentially increases without methodical CNVR work to control population.
