During Paul's recent show in Goiânia the stage was invaded by a swarm of grasshoppers! PaulMcCartney.com has this exclusive video from the gig.
Paul began his all-new "Out There" tour in Brazil and said of this of the dates, "Brazilian audiences are incredible so that's why we keep coming back. All of the shows this week were incredible. The crowds were just amazing and of course in Goiânia we had the grasshoppers join us, which was unbelievable. No one could see that coming!"

My Filipino grandma says that when a grasshopper enters your home, it's the spirit of a dead relative visiting you (although she says that about other bugs too lol Like white butterflies!) It would be nice if what you said was true ^^

In fact, most of the insects that showed up to see Paul are what we call Esperança. ( Hope). It is related to the Grasshoppers, in fact from the same family. People say it brings luck to those they approach.Others say it brings...hope! Good for Paul! Good for us Brazilian that we gave Paul such a unusual l experience.

That was such a wonderful concert! I cant explain, it. It was the best day of my life! When he did Here Today, it was just magical... Words can't explain the amount of awesome that concert contained.

I was at the show and Paul was really singing. At this time there, he fumbled a bit, took a little break and started laughing. This video was edited to show the insects. A good observer can see no difficulty it is edited. Paul is a renowned superstar and would not soil their career doing playback. He has a great voice today, because he takes care of his health, he is a vegetarian and makes constant use of ginger that is a divine remedy for voice.

Esse show de Goiânia é a apresentação no Brasil mais acessada no youtube, e certamente a que mais marcou o ex-Beatle na turnê brasileira, onde a miséria e favelas não são o principal atrativo turístico.

On a night like today, but exactly 10 years ago, I remembered this situation in which Paul was ''attacked'' by grasshoppers in Goiânia, his most recent visit, at that time, in my country and since then, The Beatles have been part of of life, it's been an incredible journey since then, and in December, I will see Paul for the second time in my life, also in my city, Belo Horizonte, I went to his show here in 2017. It's great to bring back these happy memories and more to come ! Thank you, Paul, John, George and Ringo!

Went to Paul's show in DC last night (AMAZING, by the way) and could not figure out the stuffed grasshopper on the piano... makes much more sense now!

The grasshoppers represented how diverse and beautiful our nature is and only showed what a great artist Sir Paul McCartney is, for acting so nicely is such an unusual situation. It turned the Goiania concert into one of the concerts he will never forget. Honestly, I wish we had had grasshoppers in concert in Fortaleza, too.

Foi um show incrível! Goiânia é que foi abençoada por receber um evento desse. Que sirva de exemplo para os próximos que virão, que aqui podemos sim gostar de música sertaneja, mas que a cidade não é só isso!
Eu estava no show e o Paul realmente estava cantando. Nessa hora aí, ele até se atrapalhou um pouco, deu uma paradinha e começou a rir. Esse vídeo foi editado p mostrar os insetos. Um bom observador pode perceber sem nenhuma dificuldade q está editado. O Paul é um astro de renome e não iria sujar sua carreira fazendo playback. Ele tem ótima voz até hoje, pq cuida da sua saúde, é vegetariano e faz uso constante de gengibre q é um santo remédio p a voz.

Great Paul McCartney showed how to deal with awkward situations. And as these insects attacked him, my God! I was in agony for him. Every time he had to shake his head to get rid of insects, who insisted on disturbing. He acted in stride as a true superstar, and different from some singers who think themselves above all. Congratulations, Paul. Brazil loves you.

Paul não grita nos shows, sua voz é aumentada pelos microfones, por isso que ele tem a incrível voz até hoje. Dá para pensar que a música não é ao vivo, pois não aparece as pessoas gritando, mas, os microfones só captam a voz do cara que mesmo em um grande show, não grita.
