+Chloe DeGaetano Lennon and McCartney were portraying the ill-fated lovers Thisbe and Pyramus respectively. (Thisbe is a girl.) They were holding hands because their characters were a couple.
If you guys thought that Paul improvised that then you're as dim-witted as Bottom; that was all in the script. The mechanicals thought that having death would frighten the ladies, as they would've thought it was real, and not just a play.
First off, it's rather pretentious to call someone dim-witted for not knowing what you do beforehand. Even if Jesselyn and I had known that before hand, I still would probably say that Paul's way of comforting the girls was sweet, and I really don't think we're stupid for thinking that. As fascinating as I find your knowledge of the play to be, please don't go insulting people for not knowing what you do.

This is being done in the style of Shakespeare's day. They had hecklers back then, and the actors had to play around them, so this performance is rather authentic.
i‘m pretty sure the hecklers are actually part of the original script, since pyramus & thisbe is a play within a play (part of a midsummer night’s dream)
Hard to imagine Mick, Keef and the boys pulling this off. I love the Stones, but the Beatles were just on a different level in terms of overall social impact.
@Andrew James If the Stones did pulled this off, I think Kieth should Pyramus because Paul looked pretty good as Pyramus and I always found Kieth to be the most good looking out of all of the Stones 💕💕💕💕💕

Char Char Binks I'm not entirely sure what you're meaning, but yes, my friend, the audience barely cared much for anything but the Fabs and it was obvious. But I'm sure they did care for other acts, too.

The Beatles could do anything in such a happy way. Beatles forever. By the way, I wonder why people keep on writing Paul is dead when everybody knows that invented stgory was only a way to show how people can be manipulated.
