I have a bad experience with AEG T7DBE832M heat pump dryer. It takes about 6-8 hours to dry about 5 kg in the Cotton program. The drying left time indication on the screen means nothing actually - when it is close to zero, it is increased to indicate the next cycle and it happens several times. This is how it works from the first day. It was my first experience with AEG and the last one probably...
Have had the 8000 series for couple of years now with no issues, yes it takes longer to dry my clothes but that really doesn't matter to me as it takes just as long for the washing machine to wash the clothes and as far as i can tell my clothes arent shrinking which was a big issue when I had a condenser dryer.
My niece has an aeg heat pump dryer. By far the worst heat pump dryer I have come across. Actually the worst dryer lol. The only thing I find useful about this video was when she said 'don't keep opening the door as it adds 20 mins on to the cycle." Haha, I do that on her dryer and my LG heat pump, to check the dryness. I did wonder why it would add time to my dryer.
Everyone seem to be really disappointed with the heat pump technology in dryers. It seems as if dryer manufacturers install tiny compressors which can't handle the job, especially when owners place those dryers on cold garages and laundry rooms. they take hours to dry in the winter so most people are forced to use them overnight on the highest settings when temperatures are freezing which make the problem even worse, leaving damp surprises for the morning that usually stink (Wet clothes in enclosed spaces produce dangerous mold and fungal spores). To make things even worse, they are very prone to failures, have very expensive parts and require specialized technicians to fix, all of which can only be provided by the manufacturer, making it the only benefactor from this ordeal. Energy wise, they might save you a few bucks per month, theoretically, when using it in the ideal warm environment. The problem is that you can also hang those clothes to dry in this ideal warm environment, using zero electricity while protecting the fabric, making it pointless. I would only recommend those dryers for rich, single people that live in tiny apartments, for some reason, with warm but rainy weather all year long.
@@zanussi_fan I guess you're a new AEG buyer. AEG is not the German company it used to be. Electrolux bought it in 2005, closed the very last AEG plant in Germany and outsourced everything. Now, what you're getting is basically an Electrolux machine with different styling, while Electrolux appliances are placed in the 4th last place in term of reliability by ConsumerReports.
@@zanussi_fan Just so you get the Idea, In 2009 a well known German consumer magazine tested a lot of front load washers. Three of them were AEG/Electrolux units and each of them developed a leak in the outer tub after a couple of 100 cycles, rendering the washers useless. It seems as Electrolux is using the AEG brand as a fraud to sell garbage to naive people who aren't aware.
No. I bought and known so much AEG/Electrolux machines. A friend from has an AEG Electrolux Lavamat with 6000+ operating hours!!! Still no problems. I also saw soo much old AEG's made by Electrolux that selled when its 15+ years old! You can what you want but there are aslo so much things better from Electrolux then other brands. I'll talk to you later.
@@MAXAREUOS I really don't believe anything from that It leaks after 100 Cycles... So fake. I had lot of brands and every time Zanussi/AEG were the best
@@raftonpounder6696 yes you will save on your energy significantly. as heatpump tumble dryers don’t use energy wasting heating elements, but instead, a compressor with a whole refrigeration system with refrigerant inside. this heatpump system makes it possible to dry your clothes up to 50% more energy efficient compared to a normal tumble dryer. and this heatpump system provides more care for your clothes with minimal damage and shrinking because it has a very low temperature to dry your clothes. It can dry even the most delicate items such as wool or silk without shrinking or damaging. Also this dryer is very safe to run overnight or when your not at home, it has no fire hazard. I have the 8000 series heatpump tumble dryer from AEG and I’m very happy with it. I can dry everything without worrying that my clothes get shrinked or damaged.
Sorry about all the negative comments here but I love my heat pump dryer. Love it!

Dryer who have air dry🗿
Takes hours to dry a duvet :I
Absolute rubbish. We bought one and hate it. It takes forever to dry anything. I wish I had stuck to a cheap, vented dryer.
You still save money at least
@@electroluxwash probably not.
