This is just brilliant. Born 1980 so super influenced by 80s music through my whole life, this dark wave and post punk, ebm scene just makes my heart glow. I am dancing along side my inner child, she even found the resl 80s music to light. This new, darker twost us what we always looked for. This is life to me, I love love love it!

I used to have long philosophical and existential discussions with other geeks and nerds about this theory. On one hand, my ego, pride, and own smug arrogance is annoyed that it seems like everyone wants to talk about it now. As if somehow these MCU fans think they understood WTF they are talking about. @@lajoswinkler They are the only one of these "revival" bands where the first time I heard them I honestly thought it was a mid-/late-80s post-punk band. It's still not as good as the real thing, and I generally find this type of stuff to be a tiresome re-tread in lieu of new ideas, but I like them. I'd be lying if I said that after a few songs I wouldn't rather listen to Asylum Party though...

I've listened to a lot of post punk and darkwave music over many years and in all those years I have never taken the time to seriously consider if the band that I was currently listening to might actually be real life vampires. This video has changed that. I Love this song, you guys are truly haunting.

Agreed - this song in particular celebrates resistance to conformism, which this band is all about. I can't put together 10 sentences in Turkish, but "bizden değilsen yan diyor / fetva yayılıyor" sticks with me.
This is the first band in a loooong time that I have really enjoyed. All of their cd’s are great, and that in itself is a rarity(not since Depeche Mode and INXS has that happened to me). I saw some interviews they did and they keep getting requests to do an english album, but they shouldn’t. You wouldn’t get the vibe and the soul that their native Turkish gives their music. Not only that, the lead singer is a friggin’ FOX.

I lived in Izmir, Turkey over 15 years ago and I was so happy to find many metalheads and goths there, I'd never imagined there was such a vibrant alternative scene there! I enjoyed gigs and made very cool friends over there! This band's awesome.

That's how most of the words of Latin origin are pronounced in Turkish. Asimilasyon, depresyon, aksiyon, porsiyon... All thanks to the French influence during the early days of Turkey.
