Yep, did everything right...heat pad and gun, super thin spudger etc.. screen still damaged and delaminated. Just assume your going to need a new display if replacing battery/charging port.
@@grahamwishart4832 sorry to hear that, you're right.. If the screen isn't smashed, very hard to take it off without cracking, damaging it to replace charging port. I had change mine a good few times before realising its an on going problem.. Get a new phone.. Not a nokia

Be careful not to stick your opening tool to deep into the phone! The adhesive margin is only 1-2 millimeters around the edges, it's not necessary to get deeper. The display is made of several layers, attached to the glass front from the inside. If your opening tool gets between these layers you will have to replace the display too. Thanks for this video!

Hello, great video! I have a question for you: I recently replaced the USB-C module and I have everything working except for audio recording (including whatsapp and google assistant). I can do phone and speaker calls and can even record audio with both cameras ; though that the audio recording feature is gone and doing factory reset didn't help. Did I mess up anything?

@@nitishkale4489 if your phone is under warranty it's free otherwise around 1.5k to change parts in any nokia service center

@@premnaths8567 . I changed twice once in Mumbai it worked for 2 months cause they cheated me like all service centers in Mumbai next I changed in Ahmedabad and it's working fine since 5 months now ...

@shiren quite possible you've not connected the mirco phone wire or it's not connected properbly? There's a thin black wire running down the left hand side of the phone that connects at the bottem which you'd have to disconnect to replace the charging port.

Lol I had the same problem. That small crack won't give you warrAnty And it will break the glass when you open for repair for your charging port. Good luck it cost me 9k for port and screen.
