    How are you liking these clutch levers I was fixing to order some on Amazon but I heard some good luck up your front break so now I’m scared just to buy any from my GSXR 600 2005

      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I never had any issues, I too heard about the front wheel locking up after I fitted them but never once did they let me down.

    Sr. Can you put the description of the levers please?
    It seems I can't link to it through e.Bay .
    Great, easy job. thanks

    what make are these levers, the ebay link isn't valid anymore probably item not available. How did you find these levers good quality?

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had no issues what so ever, in terms of performance. Only thing I did notice (after 3 years) is that they weren’t as red as they were when I bought them 🤣🤣🤣

    Did you do any kinda ecu flash or anything when doing your exhaust? If not how is it running? Thinking about deleting the cat

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t do an ecu flash, mate. The bike ran absolutely fine, only word of warning is that the exhaust became ridiculously loud, almost unbearable on long trips. 🥺

    • @bencorder2544
      @bencorder2544 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      DrummerOnTwoWheels yeah I almost bought that one but I heard it was to loud😂 but no problems in the middle rpms around 5 or 6k with power loss? I’ve also heard it can cause that

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can honestly say I never noticed any power loss, I’m no mechanic like but felt good to me. 🤪

    • @bencorder2544
      @bencorder2544 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, sorry to bother you again but I just thought about doing my levers. On my last bike it was a pain to do the clutch but here you made it look simple. Is that really all you do is loosen the little adjuster and the cable goes right back in? You don’t have to adjust it from the right side of the bike????
      Thanks!

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bencorder2544 that’s right, mate. Technically you tighten up the screw so the threads are no longer showing. This gives the cable enough movement to slide out of the locator.
      Obviously you need to make sure the slot is lined up so the cable can pop through but yeah, it really is that easy, matey.

    Hey Bro, Good Vid. Are these Chinese levers. If so, Some people on the GSXR forums have reported brake lock ups while riding, so be careful. I have a GSXR 750 and so far resisted this mod as I found the stock levers to be pretty good. Ride safe.

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Castle Hill Shutters is that true? They are the CNC levers, I've seen some that are really cheap Chinese ones on eBay, but these were £60 for the pair. Seen a couple of videos knocking about and they seem to be okay.
      Appreciate the heads up.
      Thanks for watching too. 😎😎😎

      Having said that, I had them on my CBR500R and never had an issue.

      I did not want to alarm you but just wanted to make you aware,
      I suggest you do some more research and google ebay lever problems GSXR.
      There are many ebay suppliers that come from many manufacturers so it would depend on how accurately it was copied and the over all quality.
      Take the ebay lever off and compare with the OEM lever. If the contact points at the master cylinder are the same then you should have no issue.
      As mentioned, I have had ebay levers before with out issue.

    Im having trouble getting the clutch cable out

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to wind the adjustment screw all the way into the lever, make sure the lines on the barrel and the locknut line up then the cable should just slide right out. Don't force it, it literally will just slide out.

    Why did you cheap out on the levers, when you spent money elsewhere allready.??????.
    Cheap knock off levers could get you in trouble.

      I did my research, yes, these aren't the high end levers but I have had them on for 18 months+. Toured all of Europe, Nurburgring and a few UK track days and have had no issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend.
      Thanks for watching.

    Best mod is to change the master cylinder to rcs19

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, I had and believe many GSX-R owners have front brake issues, some days it would be spongey as hell. Other days. Especially in the heat, it will only need the lever pulling a few mm and the brakes were so sharp.

  • @zipper978

    Taken a risk with those levers

    • @zipper978

      @@DrummerOnTwoWheels Chinese levers are cheap because they use cheap inferior raw materials that tend to break down. They can either break or where there is friction can wear away and fail.

    • @DrummerOnTwoWheels
      @DrummerOnTwoWheels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did my research, had them on 4 years now and never had an issue. However, I have since heard horror stories of brakes locking up for no reason with cheap Chinese levers. Not this particular brand but the mega cheap stuff is naff.

    • @zipper978
      @zipper978 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      DrummerOnTwoWheels I’m sure not all of them fail or break. Personally I just wouldn’t want to risk it with something like that.
