I replaced mine but I’m getting a whine and the small gear cover is leaking. I’ve read it’s because I used aftermarket gasket. Apparently oem gaskets are used as a spacer to get the stator gears lined up right.
Good vid man I recommend for viewers using Ricks electronics for Rectifier and stator not some Chinese eBay junk also make sure you torque the stator cover 7lb to spec.
Question could a bad stator cause the bike to be hesitant/slugish @ 1-4k rpms but be fine and 5k+, my bike was running like that for a lil while now. Then the other day my battery died, put new one in then went ridding and died again (low battery charge) on me pulling back into my driveway.
@herculies2121 if the battery was already low and stator n rectifier not producing enough voltage then I can see that happening just not for to long while ur riding because it will not take long for ur bike to shut off
@@SUPSGARAGE okay thanks for the info, I'm hoping that's all that's wrong with it but hopfully I'll find out this week and thanks to your video I think I'll be able to do it myself but we'll see haha

I replaced my stator and as you said in this video the bolt that goes inside the cover where the gear is snapped and its stuck in there. Any advice? Should I just let it stay in there like that?
you can drill it out carefully if you do try to put a towel under the area for you don't get any metal shavings in the engine or if it just broke off from the head then just remove the cover again completely and you some needle noses to un twist whats left of it
Hi ! the two hoses underneath the tank, mine are missing too, is that bad? Will I get any problems when I ride without them and if I have to insert them, where do I connect them? I bought my bike with these hoses already missing. Can you help me ? Thanks a lot!
they are drain hoses for your tank in case your bike falls over or over flows with gas. If you get them just connect them to the bottom of ur tank and the other end make it hang to the bottom of your bike away froml your exhaust.

I bought a brand new yuasa battery for my 750. Started right up. Took a highway ride about 30 miles. A couple of days later I go to fire it up, it primes all power and didn’t start. I thought right away it’s the battery. I look at the battery and it was sweaty. I took the battery back and they replaced it with a new one. I install it and the bike doesn’t start. It primes with all power starter engaged but doesn’t start. I take the battery out and trickle charge it to full. The bike started. I ride all day it’s turning on with no problem.
