I forgot to tell you that when I calibrated the JLB, I forgot to program the transmitter to the receiver by going reverse and throttle.
That's what I forgot to mention, but other than that, it takes off smooth and rides wel,l but it just have that sudden stop.
So do you think I need to program the transmitter to the receiver. ?
I dude I have a jlb cheetah and it barely turns on but today when I tried to turn it of it the ecs beeped a few time and I went to use it again and it was really slow but the brake were crazy it flipped the hole car on it head because the brakes were so powerful and I don’t know whats wrong this it. So I was wondering could you do a vid on it or try see why. U subbed to your channel
Which JLB model do you have 80a or 120a? If you have the 80a blue color ESC then you should upgrade it to the 120a. The blue 80a ESC will always have a faulty power button which is a common issue with those ESC. Try checking your control to make sure the throttle dual rates are at %100. The beeping noise from the ESC when you turn it on indicates what S power your using. So if your using 2s it should beep twice, and 3s should beep 3 times and 4s 4 times. So yeah try these step and let me know what ESC you have so I can determine the diagnosis.
@@ItsRCTeng thanks dude yeah I have the blue 80 amp one and I think it switched it’s self over to a 2s lipo but it’s just weird that the brakes were insane. So will I need to change the ecs to the 120 amp or a hobby wing or something like that
Yeah get rid of that 80s esc. Get the upgraded rebranded hobby wing 120a. All my trucks have them and they’re great. Easy to reprogram too since it comes with a program button near the power switch. No need for a program card like most ESC.

Hey guys, pretty new at this hobby and I’m a little confused about what servo can be used on my truck. Can I use the dsservo DS3225 6.8v 25KG on the 120a upgraded JLB CHEETAH? And if not,can anyone recommend some please.

Yeah any servo that have a 3 wire plug will work as long as the servo is the correct size for the truck. Most servo are the same size for 1/10 scale rc.

I thought i had a steering servo go out because the front tires would jitter the esc fan would slow and there would be no throttle . when i would unplug the servo from the receiver throttle would come back and the ecu fan and light would go normal. So i took the servo and receiver from the cheetah with the broken diff and i put it on the other cheetah turned it on it worked for 1 min then started doing the same thing. Worried that i might have fried the receiver i swapped it back to the cheetah with the broke diff and yep now i have 2 fried receivers . So 5 or 6 charges on both cheetah's and they are down for the count . I am guessing i have a bad esc on the one without the broken diff. Bangood would only send a diff and gearbest won't even respond to my emails and I sent it 5 days before the 30 day warranty.
+Chris Ramos sorry to hear. Save your money and upgrade the electronics. There are way better esc and receivers out there. The JLB alone for me I think is hand down one of the greatest high performance off road rc I've played with so far. Except for the electronics. I plan to upgrade that as well. Hope everything is well.
baught a jlb cheetah used it once stopped using it because the battery died or wouldn't go anymore so i assumed. Charged the battery put it on and the car turns on and off by itself. When i turn it on it will only turn and will no go forward or reverse. Help??
+SpikenMike replace the steering servo. If that doesn't work, replace the whole electronics.
Hows that servo? I was thinking of getting that one also.
P. K. It's great! I high recommend this servo. It's very responsive and it actually makes my cheetah turn a little tighter as well. No more glitch from the electronics just smooth constant power. Have fun man.

I need help! My cheetah only goes really really slow forwards & back & I have checked the battery & the rates are turned all the way up! Please helpppppp!!
Check the throttle trim on your controls. If so, turn it all the way up including your steering trim so it can be at maximum. Also, check to see if your steering servo is properly working. That’s the motor that turns your wheels, bad servo also affects the electricals on the car. Check out my video on how to diagnose a JLB cheetah. That will help you with figuring out the servo. But first check the throttle trim on your controls. 👍

Just ordered the same looking one on Ebay ....looks identical Blue case 20KG ect but different # sticker on it and shows a water drop for water proof.
