I said it once and I will say it again. This is up there as one of the best renditions of this role. Clear, crisp vocals with a fantastic interpretation to go with it. While some are tearing this to shreds this lady is actually singing it....SINGING IT!!!!!!!!!! And NOT screaming it!!!! Brava darling....BRAVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much ! It depends if I have a performance or not ; if I have a performance, I warm up ( 45 minutes ) then I review the whole role, which depends on the length of the role. If I don't have a performance, then I do a more extensive warm up, probably like an hour and then work for a few hours on repertoire 😊
Very good performance. Perfect diaphragm work, perfect staccato and legato. Fantastic voice emission. Morgan perfectly meets the conditions for performing this aria, I listen to it with great pleasure. Personally, I sing a bass-baritone and I know a little about it. :))

Yes, that's the thing with live performances: sometimes, the performers are a bit sick, or tired or, for women, on their periods and it can affect the voice. But that's also the charm of a live performance: it's never twice the same ! 😉

I quite like this unique take to have Sarastro present during the aria : it feels more threatening in my opinion. I really liked this staging ! It helped me be "extra evil" 😄
Fantastic, exciting singing! The high staccati up to the Fs were dead on, the triplets in the second half cleanly articulated. Your voice is steady and colorful, the aria projected with the rage it needs to have to be effective. Listen to Frieda Hempel's 1916 recording (on TH-cam or elsewhere) to hear where you could add an extra high F! Tetrazzini even adds a little cadenza at the end. I wish you all the best!

Terrific performance, but too much going on with Pamina and Sarastro distracting our attention from the aria itself.
