Folding the end back, and nest one inside the other was something neat! Never seen it done that way. Thank you for a concise explanation for every step you took!
thanks a lot for the idea how to join the piping. I never did it that way and it looks much easier and faster from what I am doing. I will use it in my projects imediately :)
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video helpful and that the camera work and editing met your expectations. I appreciate your support!
Thank you so much for this video! I’m new to sewing and making my first piping. I kept getting my seams on opposite sides (working with a solid fabric with no real right or wrong side) and was getting so frustrated. After watching this making piping was a breeze!
video is great but you should make your bias strips from a square pc. of fabric marking lines and you wont have to worry about sewing strips together. great video on this method on u tube.
Hi I LUV ALL Your VIDEOS!! ....I realize this is an old Video but I was just wondering what kind of THREAD was used for this Upholstery Indoor Fabric Project. I didn't see it either in the Materials List at the end. ~THANK-U CINDY
Absolutely excellent tutorial, except I think that repetitive music unnecessary. I would love an alternative to using cardboard - cardboard attracts moths.

Is that cording foot a separate attachment or is it the foot that comes with the Basic machine? What is the part number if it is separate.
Thanks!
HulaGoddess The cording foot on that machine is the standard foot that comes with any of the Sailrite Ultrafeed sewing machines.
What size is the cording?
3/16 inch.
