I sold my civvy Impaler & bought the cop car version for trade price - feels way nicer to drive, outperforms the civvy version in every way that matters, and keeps that lovely turbo blowoff valve sound. I'm personally looking forward to the Impaler LX cop car when it drops, it just screams Beverly Hills Cop to me.
Honestly, don’t buy any of them , the gauntlet Interceptor is still the best and it’s already cheaper than the new ones if you unlock the trade price. There’s no point in buying the retro cop cars which are basically reskins of the cars already in game. If you must buy a new cop car. Wait for the Dominator FX Interceptor to release. It’s gonna be a good car. Probably will give the Gauntlet Interceptor a run for its money. So yeah, save your money and yall gonna be okay.
DO NOT BUY THE IMPALER!!! I bought the gauntlet interceptor because it was proven to be faster. Every single person on the internet says the impaler is better at everything else traction, braking, steering etc. so I went and paid the 4 mill to buy it and deck it out with all the best upgrades so I could see how it drives and I was severely disappointed when I found out that not only is it’s steering absolute garbage but everything else about it is trash to not to mention it blows up after 1 missile. It can also easily be destroyed by bullets to if your going to buy a cop car get the gauntlet the impaler is the gta equivalent to the disgusting overflowing trash can on the side of my grandparents driveway.
Yes. You need to own a cop car to be able to do the dispatch missions and unlock the trade prices for the new cars. It's a bit messed up. Playing through the Clucking Bell raid unlocks the trade prices for the Stanier and Gauntlet, but if you don't want those you just have to pay the regular price for your first cop car.
