Personally I feel like the Nebula Turbo was an L. Not only is it a removed vehicle (meaning you can only acquire it when it comes through the shops or your auto shops) but all 3 of the new drift cars camera views break when you use your E Brake in them on console. I can tell that this guy is playing on PC the Cypher of is just as good as the sentinel is on my xbox
Also, i noticed that drifting in the remus and Zr350 felt NOTICEABLY different than it did the night before the update. I used to main the Remus and Jester RR but i noticed it was harder to drift them after the update. Might just me a skill issue but i wanna hear your thoughts on them after the new update
If u haven’t drifted the diety, do it. It’s the ultimate drift car for free roam. It’s surprisingly good for drifting and it’s a imani tech car so a holes can’t just blow u up in a mk2. Even if they have great aim, they need to hit u like 6 times to blow u up. It has bullet resistant windows so unless they use full metal jacket rounds, u can drive away before they are able to shoot through the windows. If you’re handy with stickies, you can swat the little pesty mk2s out of sky fairly easily when they do come for u. It’s my go to car every lobby I enter.
I never did drift races because my cars felt slower and worse.. But rockstar has fixed that and made my cars all slower and worse all the time!!! Now I just don’t even drift anymore

That's true, but even after the upgrade the car really isn't that expensive. Especially in the grand scheme of things, I'd say it's a pretty decent purchase.
Interesting take on the Cypher. I feel that it is one of the best performing drift tune cars (post-nerf), especially at high speeds or going up steep grades, by utilizing the mid drive speed boost. I have noticed that it's grip is quite sensitive to aesthetic mods, and have driven some configurations that felt very bad, so maybe you'll find a build for it that you end up liking.
I went through like 6 setups of wheels bodymods etc and now I am in love with this thing. My main car used to be RX-7, but I dont discriminate, I have at least 1 of each of drift cars. I would say Nebula is great car to start with, but getting a setup of car that takes work is so much more satisfying.
Yeah I admit I was a bit too negative about it's power, it's relatively quick but the gearing and inconsistent handling made the car feel a bit slower to me - slower in terms of responsiveness and overall agility rather than outright speed. Appreciate your thoughts!
Do the Nebula's handling flags get in the way of drifting at all? What with the bouncy flag and the toe values that make it swerve after hitting random bumps. I am absolutely getting another one to slide as soon as i can but i'm just wondering if you noticed anything.
Nah, didn't notice that really at all - handles bumps just fine, definitely a lot more smooth and easy to handle than the non-drift tuned version. Go for it man!

I really wish they would add at least one muscle drift car, I know they have the Tampa but that's technically a super modified one so it doesn't really count to me
I wad looking forward for nebula getting the upgrade and wasn't disappointed at all! Feels very smooth, with just enough power. Keeps up on the level with other top drift cars, being very easy to handle, comparing to early remus
Cypher definitely isn't low on power. It pretty much immediately jumps up to medium speeds, making it really strong for drift races (can easily do 300k+ on A Hill To Die On). The handling is probably the most inconsistent of all drift tune cars in game, which coupled with it's acceleration makes it the hardest car to master.
Yeah I think I ripped a bit too much on it's power, it's not that bad but the handling just didn't feel great to me at all. The amount of understeer/body roll just made the car feel slow in general, and I think I wrongfully conflated that with a lack of raw power.

For the Z32 you said it diesnt have enough rear grip, but in the footage you dont have a wing equipped. Do you still feel the same way with one equipped?
It doesn't have a huge impact, that's generally the case when you put spoilers on the low-grip cars. The X32 is generally a bit more tail-happy than some of the better low-grip drift cars.

@DannyMartin56 yeah they benefit from the long wheel base, but I need to do more testing. I'm not nearly as good at drifting as SWK so I'm not sure my "testing" would be any good lol.

@@NFS0007 Nebula Turbo got added back with this update as it was given the drift tuning thing.. unfortunately, you still can't remove the stupid sunstrip from the car.. Another hit and miss by Rockstar.. Updating an older vehicle yet missing out on giving us the option to remove that ugly stupid shit of a sunstrip which makes the car undrivable for me as I drive in first person only.. hah

Even in the clips shown, you seem to be drifting it very well and at higher speeds than the other cars

Correct! Just throw on drift tuning and maybe lower your suspension, and you'll be good!

I explained it mostly in the video. Floor the gas to get the tires spinning, tap the handbrake rhythmically to keep the car sliding.

rockstar did the 300z so dirty customization wise and no drift tune 🥲 hopefully it gets added to it later in the future
