I live in Ottawa, the week we lost Gord and to honour Gord & The Hip, ever time the clock tower on Parliment Hill would chime, it would play this song... Graciously done guys ❤ this!!! I have followed The Hip since the beginning!❤
It's incredible how well his voice fits the Hips style, specifically in this song. Two different voice types, both perfect. Amazing cover. We miss you Gord. Long live the Hip, long live The Trews - the next Tragically Hip
Love how the boys look like they're almost nervous trying their hardest to nail this song, and Sinclair is giving it 110% loving every second. What an awesome Canadian collaboration. Excellent recording. The handshakes at the end say it all.
Man, that looks like a great night out! The band killed it, and the crowd is into it. Channeling the Hip’s bar band years, but that is a very very high bar. Nice one.
I love to crank TTH's rendition of Grace, Too when I'm driving. It's one of my favourite songs (killer opening bass and drum riff). This one's right up there. You guys NAILED IT!!! So good. Would be magical to hear this at The Rose.
Awesome! Major hip fan! Drummers just drowning us!! Love it !! Reminding me of that tour back in the 90s, everybody smoking joints out in the old smoking section of the Paladium Centre hearing those drums , and everyone running inside as it starts
I met Colin in the very beginning of the Trew's career and told him its a crime I only paid $5.00 door cover to see them play. This is an example of why. Always loved the bands style and Colin's vocals from the corner of Hollis and Morris days til present. Its not always perfect and that's what makes it perfect.
The guy that wrote 65 percent of the first three albums at least and picked out their set list every night for 30 years disagrees. He’s on stage with them playing.
I was expecting to cringe the minute he started singing, just because it wouldn’t be Gord (nothing against his voice per se). But a great cover!! Good to see Gord Sinclair on stage again.
I appreciate the knod to the Hip....but, what stupid name for a band, The Trews. Doesn't compare to names like, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, Poison, etc.

Probably one of the best Hip covers I've ever heard. Nicely done!
The Trews do great covers.
Bit of a cheat thought lol.
Gord Downey is Canada's PERMANENT 'Poet Lauraete." His songs are Canada's Soul.
The Trews..... Keeping Canadian music alive and relevant. Also they are AWESOME!!!!!
How to cover the Hip. A+ boys. Definitely took me back to those magic Hip shows.
Gord would be so happy!!! Truely. I can just picture him smiling and dancing along as you perform.
I said this a few years ago and got so much hate, but I KNEW I WAS right. This is the only way it could ever work now. The Trews and the Hip! YES!! Xx
I like to think Gord woulda danced his ass off listening to this
Outstanding tribute! I loved it!
You know you're a Canadian when you automatically know who Gord Sinclair is.
this Alaskan knew too....lucky people in that audience...
Okay, talk about the perfect singer to sing a Hip cover. Geez Louise! Nice work guys!

Sinclair has always given 110%
A worthy tribute !! Great performance
Amazing cover. That’s what fun about the Trews always play a wicked cover or two at a live gig.
Helps when the bass player(who made this song what it is imo)from the original is there lol. But yes an amazing cover.
The Trews are true beauts.
Especially after the Highway of Heroes song
Great homage to one of the best bands of all time.

Only Colin can pull off the perfect tribute to Gord. Well done, sir (and boys)!

Everything the Trews do live is top notch.
@@reillyoterry9461 because Gord Downey is one of a kind, and it is rare to see artists doing him justice
So awesome
