Thanks again Peek! I appreciate the opportunity to talk about these things…. And somehow your editorial skills made me sound moderately intelligent. 😂 Most of these topics are super basic, hopefully the viewers don’t take it as an insult to their intelligence, but I swear I see almost all of these things happen daily!
I am very bad at dd an still learning. I play bb mostly but this has helped alot thank you 2 for taking some time an making the vid to help the community out a bit.
I don’t know if he mentioned it but sitting in caps completely still is a sure way to eat blind Torps. I catch people in my Somers all the time with those sneaky high damage Torps. Glad he mentioned not putting yourself in a battleships path when you know there’s a torp potential. I see so many DDs screw that up while I’m in a battleship.
Bravo made a lot of good points. Some others that I think are crucial are 1) memorizing all DDs approximate DPM. Know what DDs you can knife fight with and come out on top in raw damage scenarios. 2) backing into caps. If you're at a possible disadvantage for whatever reason do this to give yourself a fighting chance to live and have your team mates chip in as you disengage. 3) baiting enemy consumables. If you know you're up against a long range sonar DD or radar cruiser nearby a point skirt their consumable detection and touch the point to trigger it's use then sail the .1-.2 km away to safety.
Great advice Bravo 👏 One of the greatest fighter aces of WW2 was Erich Hartman and what made him successful was he picked his battles where he knew he can be successful. This kept him alive and able to shoot down more aircraft. He ended up with 352 kills in WW2. I always have this in the back of my mind.
Peek I love this idea you came up with hopefully this will help new players and old players too. I would consider myself pro with BB but I’m going to watch the BB video because you can always keep learning no matter your skill level
If you're a gunboat DD knowing which other DDs pose the biggest threat. If I'm using Cossack at T6 I want to really think carefully if there is a Benson on the red team ...

Good video peek lost of info. Just hope people listen and at least try the skills. DDS getting killed early is the baines of the first 5 min of most games. Can't wait for the BB 👍
You're welcome 😉 - be careful in the beginning of a match (try to survive) - in the early game go around corners wide if you don't have spotting (you could get ambushed) - spot the enemy dd first, then smoke if necessary - be careful when and where you smoke - don't sit in your smoke for too long (asking to get torpedoed) - wait for enemy dd to launch torpedoes, then smoke (strategy) - use enemy smokes instead of your own smokes (save your smokes) - know the sonar and radar ranges - don't smoke against sonar or radar dds, bbs, cas, cls - your smoke can conceal enemy ships (especially bad when you're spotted by that ship with sonar or radar) - shooting battleships (not smoking yet) in a 45 degree angle (not broadside), looking for it's turrets, when the turrets look at you hit brakes, turn hard and pop smoke (gives you 20 sec. of free shooting) (strategy) - use overview cam in tight areas to get a better overview of your situation - overview cam will also lock your guns (use it when you want your guns locked in a specific direction) - avoid tight spaces without room to maneuver - always have 1-2 exit points (you could get pushed by e.g. a dd killer) - use twist 'n track to get information if there is a dd near you (if your twist 'n track points towards an enemy bb in 10 km there is no dd) - don't be next to a teammate bb if you know there is a enemy dd (asking to get torpedoed) - be a bit ahead of your teammates so you can spot torpedoes for them - use your twist 'n track to use torpedoes against enemies - don't be broadside if someone uses twist 'n track to use torpedoes against you (be in a 45 degree angle so you can avoid torpedoes) - late game is different you may have to break the mentioned rules, you have to do what needs to be done to secure the victory - in the late game get in the enemy capture point to block points if necessary
Very good video, I already do all but is a very good video, people need to do this like a homework, and go to spot early as possible, if you catch a CC or BB broadside early your team can hit them hard, if is a radar ship your work is easy only for spot them early
This all seems like common sense what was talked about. Dd is situational and knowing what teammates are doing more than anything. Surely teammates that use comms also help with info.
As a dd main, Bravo says excellent points but sadly FREE ships stops these T3 players from ever learning. T7 T8 T9 all have 11.7k radar an 6k sonar ships to look out for an there first instinct is to smoke thinking there safe... to bad WG dont care about training rooms just $$$
Knowing how this game works is quite easy for me since I have good game sense so I was just good from the get go playing destroyer couldn’t be any easier I have my fletcher at 91% winrate since divisions matter lmao. Just decided to use that ship for division testing and it was ridiculous.
Yup, I've had some bad games in the past year. The new players need to study in AI instead of going right into standard matchs not knowing how to use Their ships correctly. The new players in my opinion, have become the "Toxicity of the games these days". They come into a game to play not realizing how to use the ships, they end up shafting the veterans that have been playing for years. I watches 3 and 4 year Veterans make " An amateur or rookie mistakes" in games that I was able to take advantage of to win games. But I have also seen more games then I can count, go south than it should of been a win that certain players in matches, I left them with the points advantage in epicenter or any other match and they sat back asking for smoke or intel that the entire enemy teams sweeps in after I would do my job in any match to throw a matchs away 😤🤦♀️🤦♂️. So even an educational video can't fix issues ongoing that players don't listen or watch the mini maps or radar, or every tactical possible way to win or throws games makes even me 🤬😡 m not wanna play much anymore unless I have the time I am going to other games again to take an extended break while I wait for my Yamato Beurue to finish.

You ever go to a Major League Baseball game early and watch them warm up? Or any professional anything? They always drill the fundamental basics.
As a BB guy looking into DD life, but I also really like my delta Carts... Tips are always appreciated. o7
Some people will find it helpful.
Usually the small, simple sounding stuff end up having a massive impact. Great points but would expect nothing less from Bravo. Ggs
