I have a Chacoan male, he has a wonderful social/confident personality but a killer feeding response. How would you go about introducing a female to him with his bottomless pit appetite? My main concern is him mistaking a female as another food item.
Good question. First always be ready for the worst. Have something you can use as a visual barrier and something to use to break up a fight, because it can happen. Introduce after he is fed or early before he is to warmed up.
