1950's Hutchins 12V Ahooga Horn

This is an old ahooga horn built back in the 50s made by Hutchins Co.. It's currently running on a 12V power supply, and still has it's original housing and steering wheel button. Has some rust on it but still roars. It measures about 114 decibels at 1 foot.

It is kind of interesting to see what the mechanism actually looks like. I am also one of the people who searched "awooga" and wanted to hear the stupid 1930's car horn sound effect. But also, I slightly understand the reason it makes noise, and why it's called a horn.

Vintage 1950s Hutchins 12V Ahooga Horn - the model A horn does not have a connection to ground inside the the horn. The ground for the horn is from the horn button.
