    You mention the ages 13- 18 for these games. I’m sorry but these games are essential for the life of a blind child throughout life.
    Younger the better. I myself am legally blind and was treated no different from my “normal” brother and at the same time I was taught these skills and more as a regular part of growing at all ages
    Skills shouldn’t be taught at certain ages they should be constantly taught. Yes they are more focused on at certain ages as the individual is gaining new levels of independence such as traveling further from home alone or even newer areas but should never just start at a certain age.

      Thanks for your comment Jodie. You’re right that these activities using the senses are essential to visually impaired children, regardless of age. Our ages were merely suggestions as all children develop at a different pace. We hope lots of families are able to try these activities out with their children to help their development 👍
