How did the bus get on that building?? I love Fallout 4 but the world-building is so incredibly shoddy. Think about anything in that world for more than 5 seconds and it all falls apart.
This map never really appealed to me. Feels cheaply made and all over the place, and exists for the purpose of gameplay. The art style also doesn't look very appealing for this type of setting. In short, doesn't feel like place but a video game play ground.
CompetitivelyAwesome It's also the art style which I abhor for this kind of setting. The art style also exposes the limitations of the engine and takes you out of the experience. For example, you can clearly see the low LOD detail on the structures far away due to the visual style making everything in the distance look plain and fake compared to the structures near you.
I think where the art style is concerned, it was a reaction to the complaints about Fallout 3 and New Vegas' very singular color palette. So this time they went with a rather pastel colored googie and Atomic Age style, which, to be honest, fits with the 'world that came before' in Bethesda's Fallout series, where the emphasis is a lot more on the retro-futuristic stuff than in the previous games. I read somewhere in an interview with Todd Howard that they decided to do Boston because it had the right mix of american history and advanced technology (MIT). And you can see both those things clash constantly within the world. Where in Fallout's universe the 21th century was merely an extension of the early to mid 20th century. Instead of smaller designs, you've got these bulky retro-futuristic things slapped on to old east-coast style brick houses and narrow streets more reminiscent of a European city, unlike say Los Angeles or indeed Las Vegas (as seen in New Vegas where there were huge stretches of angular lanes and highways).

Pokemon GO
Wow. Amazing.
That intro blew my mind!
Please make an other places for Just Cause 3, quite a good looking game world isn't it?
Can you do the same thing for PS4 exclusive such as uncharted and The Last of US ?
I play this game ! Thanks !
It's such a shame that Bethesda can't help compromising these beautiful worlds through indifferent game design and by-the-numbers storytelling.
please make Medici from Just cause 3
Good work, but not as strong as usual. Still waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. CoP!

Its just an old engine
