Nice job on the doorcards. 👍 Very nice looking Teggie too.
Funny enough I got a pair for my car during the summer. My originals were ok, but there was a small nick under the driver's door. You couldn't see it, but I knew it was there. 😄 I'm in Ireland and we had a huge JDM import scene here in the late 90's and most of the 00's(helps we drive on the correct side😉) so we got a fair number of DC2 R's(and non R's) so there are more parts out there, or at least there were. A lot harder to find these days as most either rusted away, got wrecked when they hit the 3-4k mark to buy, or were parted out(hideous insurance costs didn't help). I haven't seen one on the road in two years, when once you'd see one near daily. So when a pair came up I grabbed them and they were only 50 quid so...
luckily when they were at rock bottom value wise(as "recently" as 2019) I got a fair few bits and bobs to store away, some I got for free. Crazy, but I suppose local demand just wasn't/isn't there. To give you an idea, a DC2 R _actual_ value locally runs roughly between 12-18k, in the rest of Europe ones run between 12 for a ropey one, 20-23 for a nice one. Actually I'm surprised more US folks don't look to Europe rather than Japan to import. EUDM have the same headllights, roughly the same everything else(foglight in the back and some other small differences), but with Recaros, Momo steering wheel, titanium gearknob etc and they're LHD.
My car's a 98 spec JDM and came with all but aircon option deleted, so didn't had tweeters, or even a radio and speakers(I installed two in the front). I have a pair of OEM tweeters and was tempted to install them but haven't yet. My doorcards do have a stamped inked guide of sorts showing where to cut them out, so that's no help to you. Maybe that only came on 98 on JDM cars? I don't recall the tweeter Honda Access option for JDM 96 to 98.
Tbh in your position I'd just make a paper template from your old doorcards front and back and carefully cut it out with a dremel or the like, cut a cross shape on the vinyl side which you can fold back when you install your speakers. I've known guys who've done just that on cars that never came with tweeter options and it worked well.
TL;DR?(I don't blame you🙂) great job, lovely car and you've got a sub from across the pond.

Great feedback and thank you for taking the time to watch and sub!
I enjoyed the details and thankfully was able to find the template, faintly, on the back side. This will help me cut out the hole and get the tweeters installed again properly. I'll upload a video of me cutting those out soon!
Thanks for the kind words and the sub!
