Started watching this and about 5 minutes in was thinking I need to restart the video and start taking notes
My haul was The Piano 4K, Citizen Kane 4K, 45 Days, Two Days One Night, Love Affair, Woman of the Year, Boat People, I Daniel Blake, Buena Vista Social Club and Mikey and Nicky.
The more criterion hauls I see, the more I need to get a region A player, we have about 200 of all the titles available
some of the films they choose to release on region B seem so random when there are so many classics on region A that we are yet to get as well
That’s how I feel about arrow video in the US
Do it. I got a region B player so that I could get Eureka and Arrow blu-rays, and it helped me massively expand my film collection.
Just watched Death By Hanging based on Eric’s recommendation. One of the most unique films I’ve been seen - loved it!

The only films I've seen that are mentioned here is Dr. Strangelove, which is excellent, and Citizen Kane, and The Royal Tenenbaums, which I also like. I haven't seen most of the films you guys mention, but I love where you guys are coming from. You definitely have my respect. I like watching your Criterion hauls. I don't have anywhere near as many Criterion's. By the way, you guys are more entertaining than the Oscars for sure.

Kino has a great sale going on right now too. Great films by some of the greatest filmmakers like Melville, Renoir, Murnau, Bunuel, Hitchcock, Ford, Wilder, Carne, Griffith, Keaton, Tarkovsky, Becker, Resnais, Clouzot, Wellman, Whale and others.
It was definitely hard to control myself, it was definitely torture lol. Kino, criterion flash sale and Warner archive all having sales going on at the same time.

Thanks guys! 😊 I just wanted to mention that Marketa Lazarová was directed by František Vláčil and not Tarkovsky.
If Perry said that, he knows it’s not. I think he was trying to say that it is inspired by tarkovsky
What I meant is that for people who like Tarkovsky, I think they would also enjoy Marketa Lazarova. I know Tarkovsky didn't direct Marketa Lazarova. Sorry. I should have been more clear.
