Sangyoung Kim is a poetic and brilliant interpreter of the C Major Sonata. Her phrasing, balance within chords, dynamic restraint and musicianship are all that I strive for at the piano and in my teaching. I am so glad to have heard this performance and will look for her in the future. Finally, a young pianist with a heart.

I am excited about finding this moving performance of Brahms Op.1 after knowing her wonderful renditions of Beethoven"s Variations Op.35 and Op.120. Dramatic, tender, and melodic. For me, she is an outstanding pianist. Bravo! Bravo!

The andante is absolutely stunning. As is the whole performance. I really enjoyed it. Thank you!

    Bravo Miss Sangyoung Kim...
This is one of my favorite piano sonatas. I watched her 2 years ago in my city, played by the great Eliso Virsaladze. Miss Sangyoung Kim performed it very well. However, I consider it a disrespect - especially for the soloist - that she has to present a difficult work like this, at least to my mind, in a concert hall that has a Steinway, but apparently does not have an air conditioning system. Around 5 minutes she has her face completely wet
