Man I loved that game, never had it on my GB, only found it a few years ago on one of those retro game control things. Gundam fighting games always fun!
04? I was playing the megaman Battle network series.
I remember playing this game and using the Calamity Gundam a lot. I still own it too! It’s just somewhere in my basement.
I never played the GBA version but I did have Gundam: Battle Assault (PS1), Gundam: Battle Assault 2 (PS1), and Gundam: Battle Assault 3 (PS2) and I had a lot of fun playing those.
Of course I also had fun playing Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3, and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn.
I'd love to see a new Gundam Battle Assault game and a new Dynasty Warriors Gundam game.
I'm gonna go back and play those games you mentioned - in fact, you brought up doing more tier lists, so maybe in the future I can tier each fighting game!
I had this game. Im not big on 2d fighters, but couldnt say no to a gba gundam game. It would be nice to have a modern 2d gundam fighting game though, something with a good netplay, as some recent releases have proven it is possible. Even a compilation collection of just the 2d fighters would be pretty sweet what with the increasing rarity of classic media and all.
Interesting, I played a ton of the regular Battle Assault titles on the original PlayStation but never tried this out.
I didn't have a Gameboy advance until I got an SP in Senior High. Curious if the cartridge would fit with mine?

Check out the sequel if you haven't, it has Destiny stuff (none of the mid-season upgrades, rip) in addition to every single unit from the original game.

I had the game..... and then sold it. I personally didn't like it. It's a fighting game that should have been put onto a home console rather than a portable one. It felt very awkward. Also, the game is expensive. The cartridge alone can go for $50CAD.
