Hi everyone! Today I will be showing you how to DIY your very own mirrored chest/dresser!
Items you will need:
-IKEA Tarva 6 Drawer Chest
-Gorilla construction adhesive glue with Culk gun
-E6000 glue: amzn.to/2LvtAyB
-Kylon Silver Metallic Spray Paint
-14 thin sticks from Lowe’s
-Mirror glass from Lowe’s
-Measuring Tape
-Permanent marker
-Scissors
-Crystal knobs

This is what i love most about this. The dresser was probably 1/3 or 1/2 the price for the same aesthetic. The content alone is worth the time it takes to do it and what a better way to bond with someone you care about than to work together on a project. 13/10!
It's nice to have a handy husband who puts together your furniture and one that knows what he's doing! This turned out really beautiful!
i have seen a number of diy videos for such mirrored cabinets/chests and my question to all of them is how to you protect your hands or the kids from getting cut by the edges and no one has ever replied to me. to my surprise you the first person to answer this without even asking. thank you so so much for sharing.

You can cut holes on glass for knobs its not tempered
Yes I want to put glass on the front of my drawers for my dresser, nightstand and chest I already have to brighten them up. I was looking at her glue on knobs like🥴. I will get measurements for the holes already in my drawers and get Lowes to put it in the glass. But great video! Thanks for the tips!

Omg I love it it’s so beautiful. I just have to ask how the door handles are holding up with just the glue? I’ve seen people drill holes into the glass for the handles but this seems to cause a lot of glass pieces to break and I’m not the most competent diy person. Just asking as we have a bunch of kids over all the time no doubt someone’s sticky fingers will be drawn to this.

I have a tufted navy blue bed now and we have a black bedroom set that went with our old bed. Now I can redo it.

Super nice lately I've been into mirror nightstands they are expensive but so pretty I bought one hope it lasts for a long time sometimes it's okay to spend more then what your usual too for nice stuff

Beautiful. The construction glue will cause dark spots on your mirror after awhile. They make mirror adhesive which is made for projects like this.

Beautiful !!! I would love to see you take just the two top drawers and give them hinges to fold down to insert components and remotes etc. Also with drilled holes in the back to phish the cords through... ijs’n since you mentioned it being the TV console 😁
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I've always wanted mirrored furniture, but could never afford it, so I figured I'd look on TH-cam. One question/suggestion I have to make it more affordable is, why not use a dresser you already have or a used one from a thrift store? Other than that, thank you for making this video!

I love it! I made something similar. No mirrors on mine though. I have mirror makeup/organizers so I thought it would be to much mirror acting my dresser was to. So it's a nice champagne color with the same knobs as yours. Enjoy!

I like it! I like it a lot!! I love the mirror and silver look! I currently started over from scratch and moved into an apartment. I had nothing! Everything I have purchased minus the sectional and my ninja blender has come from the thrift store! I’m going to use your tips and methods to create a chest of drawers. I will most definitely tag you!

I sanded my edges because they were crazy sharp!
My husband made strips with his saw table and that's what we put around the edges of the one we made.
Yes they are sharp, that’s why we added those thin sticks seen in the video 😊

That's what I did. But I bought a dresser for $5 from goodwill. (It was flimsy so they sold it for cheap. My husband is a carpenter so he fixed it.) I went to lowes with my measurements and viola made my glass dresser.
