Employee Pension Scheme, 1995 (EPS), or Pension Yojana had a new clause that no one knew about. By the time the news reached the masses, the EPFO ruled out the possibility of increased pension by giving an arbitrary statement. Lawsuits then followed the EPFO from different parts of India and now the matter was in the hands of the Supreme Court that decided to rule in favor of the People.
It ordered the EPFO to pay the increased pension to all those who started contributing to the EPS scheme before November 2014 at the higher wages. Mr. Praveen Kohili was one of them and the first person to get his pension increased by 1200% (from Rs 2372/month to Rs 30,592/month). But the struggle of a lot of other pensioners still remains. As they are yet to get the increased pension, a lot of them don't even know how to avail higher pension, and many don't even know about such a case of higher pension.

Nice video, also watched one on increased Pension payout. But did not understood clearly it is applicable for whom. Any person who has paid contribution to Pension Scheme 1995 regardless of whether employed in private organizations, or is it only for those employed in government organizations.
But nobody is responding properly in PF office in Bangalore
Mr.Kohli deserves credit for all his efforts ,which paved way for all eligible epf members , retired/to be retired.But the most unfortunate part played by the epfo organization Chandigarh is disgusting because they have been putting non tenable objections on every pension case to get revised under the Act and overlooking the decisions of hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Sanction /revision of pensions of few hundred employees is just a drop out of a stream.The Court cases pending in High Court is the result of the negative. co operation by respective epfo organizations

I have never heard EPS 95 pension news in any south Indian languages and in English. How can several lakhs if EPS95 pensioners has to understand news? PF authorities Hyderabad not implemented higher pension so far
The PF has rejected my case outright saying that I belong to exempted category i.e. my Employer had their own PF Trust as such I am not eligible to avail the benefits and not covered under the Supreme Court judgement. Please advise, how to proceed and if the stand of the PF Office located at Chinchwad, Pune is correct. Regards
