Great video Logan! We are bracing for some cold weather here in Central Texas. Our seeds are doing great in the heated mud room with LED grow lights. Man I am ready for sprint planting in mid March. Stay warm.

Thanks Logan, that was great! The opening footage was nice, very seasonal! I enjoyed all of it! I wonder if a wand would help you reach the middle of the frames? Thank you for keeping up your channel and posting!!

Great video. Any particular reason you use straw for the covering vs a tarp or something cheap/free like grass clippings? Does it matter on what type of straw? Thanks!

It does not matter on the type of straw

What keeps the straw from blowing away?
How warm does the air temp need to be to start seeds in the greenhouse? i keep my garage at 58 degrees and it's well insulated and i have large windowsills is that warm enough? I bought one heat mat so far, hoping to save some money on plants this year by starting my own, spent over 300 last year on plants from the nursery.

Are you planting Snap peas (for eating) or sweet peas (cut flowers) beside the garlic?

Hi Logan, I just want to know since I live in a tropical country and I had learned agriculture in the college, what is the purpose of spreading the straw over the garlic field? Thanks.

Hello! We spread straw over the garlic field usually after the first hard freeze of the season. We were a little late this year, but it is better late than never. The straw is usually put on pretty thick (~4-5 inches) so it can protect the garlic, since the garlic is tender from not being at its full size yet. The straw also helps the nutrients within the soil during the cold.
      Thank you for watching!!

@@BroyansFarm @Broyans Farm I see, so the straw will prevent the garlic from freezing and preserve soil nutrients. Thank You:)
