Thank you for explaining the vouchers! And being a part of that program. I do very well for myself now but when I was a young mother I needed WIC help. It’s an amazing program that constantly improves. Children should always be fed the most nutrient rich foods they can.

One of our family favorites is to have a nice vegetable tray and make our own home made dill dip. It's always been a fan favorite, even with relatives and neighbors. The key is to make it one day ahead of time so all that stuff has time to set and incorporate into the dill dip.
2 cups mayo and 3 cups sour cream. I MINCE one small carrot and mince one small vidalia onion.I mince a half a red bell pepper. I stir them all together. I add 4 tablespoons of dried dill. I have used fresh dill and put it in a processor to mince up. The next day it is ice cold and ready for your veggie tray.
My relatives used to laugh at me. Kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. They are picky eaters when they are kids. I would tell them that there are plenty of carrots, cauliflower florets, sliced red peppers, cherry tomatoes, celery and radishes. I'd tell them that there is "dip for the veggies but it is really tart like those nasty sour candies you kids eat and I think are horrible". The kids reach over to put some on a carrot or celery and the next thing you know they are a dill dip fan too.

THANK YOU for mentioning those VOUCHERS, I see a lot of people using them but I didn't know what they were all about. I sent my form in but I THINK it might be too late with all the people signing up for them. I put it on my 2025 calander if I am still here. I am retired and have Arthertis BAD and I LOVE all Farm Stand Produce. I always say I wish you guys were closer. I do take a ride up there in the Fall and get our Fall Stuff and whatever veggies you have fresh. I load up on JILL's GOODIES and even put some in the Freezer. We have an Amish Market but those prices are off the chart. The Amish Market Goodies are really not that GREAT and Jill's Goodies make them look BAD.

I wanted to pass on this info on powdered extract from the japanese indigo plant, its water soluble, its a super food/fertilizer but with very high anti viral and bacterial properties. Japanese researchers are still studying it but what they have found so far isamazing. NHK Japan tv has a program series called Mediacal Frontiers, its on approx May 2023 episode. They have gotten big results with hot house strawberries, they are saying it will stop blight on fruit trees. Since its water soluble you can use it with a typical backpack sprayer. Anti fungal/bacterial/viral as I stated. If you can buy I think you are going to be happy with it.

Plus, it might also cause that video creator to rethink his decision and go ahead and harvest a goodly amount of those onions already lying over!!
