I have translated the text, have fun! ------------- | Written by "Temerity", July 17th, 2013 at 9:46:43 PM | "MINECRAFT: The Diether | | Two days ago, I embarked on a new Minecraft game. When I put the name of my world, I confirmed, and I spawned in a very specific biome. | | It was a kind of forest, where the trees were gigantic, the wood texture was really realistic, yet I don't use any texture pack! I then looked in my inventory to see if there was this wood. No nothing. So, I installed the Too Many Items mod for 1.1. I couldn't find anything either. | | I didn't have a feeling of fear, but of ecstasy to see this world so beautiful. As I wandered around, I created a portal to go into the Nether. I put some obsidian, a lighter and there ... Surprise! The portal was not purple as usual, but blue! A beautiful blue, which I had never seen in Minecraft before. I was very excited, if it was a bug then it would be the most beautiful bug I have ever seen. | | I then entered this portal. Oddly, it didn't say "Entering the Nether", but "Entering the Diether". The Diether? What is that ? A paradise, the opposite of the Nether? Why "Diether"? Die? The death ? | | In short, when the world finishes generating this, stupor. I entered a world filled with floating islands, the blocks were a sepia color, and the sky was dark. I heard new sounds, as if there were new monsters in the Diether. It was then that I saw a skeleton. Not just any skeleton. He had red eyes, well if he had eyes ... His face was distorted, another bug? That's when I clicked on it to see if it was shooting arrows, like other skeletons in the normal world. NO. Instead, he let out a screeching, blood-curdling cry. Besides, my speakers did not hold to this scream, they made a little "plop" and nothing more. I plugged in my headphones, my hands shaking. The skeleton was chasing me. He was going at a monstrous pace. I was scared in front of my screen. Yet this is just a game! But the Diether was special. It was terrifying. When I killed the skeleton, I walked, very slowly. I went from island to island. For a moment, I arrived in a sand biome, with strange structures. And always these skeletons! | | At the end of the island, there was a pyramid. Which was otherwise sublime. I entered this pyramid, and that's when I saw dead sheep, wolves, cows ... All the passive mobs in the game! In blood. But normally in Minecraft there is no blood! And yet... Behind the corpses, there were signs, with inscriptions on them. It was in English. It had written "What are you doing here? Are you scared?" which means "What are you doing here? Are you afraid?" then there were two buttons next to it. A "Yes", and a "No". | | I then clicked on the "Yes". Then a trap door opened. Letting me fall into the void. At least, that's what I thought. At the bottom of the hole, it was red. When I approached that bright red. The game closed, my wallpaper turned red too, my icons disappeared, and my character's skin on Minecraft appeared. My skin was bleeding. My computer was no longer responding. Neither my mouse, let alone my keyboard. I realized that my computer was the victim of a virus. I threw it away, then bought a new computer. I will never play Minecraft again!
