on those old iPhones - let them sit on charge for a while. sometimes they will kick on even if they aren’t showing any signs of charge

Yeah, I found an old 3GS and I needed it to charge overnight to make it work
How long do you recommend? I usually let them each sit for like 30min-1hr before filming, but tbh I’m a bit scared to leave them sitting to long 😂
@@SmokinSilicon a day or sometimes 6-12 hours is fine. that's how I revived my iPhone 6 and 4s
Probably a few hours plugged into the wall so they get enough battery to boot also you don’t really have to be worried about anything happening unless the battery is already expanding.

When I was 10 i had no money for iTunes so I loaded EVERY SINGLE WINDOWS VISTA SAMPLE TRACK onto my ipod
iOS 6 removed the preinstalled TH-cam app. every version before that had the TH-cam app

back when youtube was automatically installed youtube was amazing back then now u gotta search 20mins to find sumt half way decent to watch
Not to mention commercials every 2 minutes making it almost unbearable and unwatchable.

So many of my iPhones fell to that crap, it took until the X for them to get their battery game together
wow! that pink ipod was awesome. its really cool how these things captured only a small part of people's lives when ipods were new & huge- but those times were big special moments for them with their favorite songs and games, etc. from back then. literal human milestones recorded, like that classic gifted to someone celebrating their retirement. in the future (and even now) we'll be looking at our old smartphones like a time capsule full of data of our lives as the next big thing emerges. i love how sentimental and magical humanity can be when healthily enjoying our technological innovations

Fun fact, there was NEVER an 8GB 3rd gen. They only shipped in 32GB and 64GB. Also MICHELLE PHAN!!!! This is a true time capsule since I used to watch her before beauty influencers were way more prevalent than in today's age. I was 13 around this time. LOL
If you see like a little bump on the screen, that’s probably a battery problems. I always see that videos. Of different iPods from Funk pod.

Expensive old androids were still crap at the time though compared to iphones. I had some super nice androids back in the day, and they’d still have like 8gb storage. Don’t blame that crap on SD cards either, they just had bad specs.

Hi. I have bought a bunch of 3gs's and one 3g. The question is simple, after disassembly any 3gs doesn't take charge, not connecting to a PC. On the other hand, 2g doesn't have this problem. Could someone please tell me, How can i solve it? Any help would be appreciated.

1:35 like I said in the first video, iPod Touches and any iOS devices running older iOS versions are rare and worth more because you can’t downgrade iOS, only upgrade. I can tell that iPod is probably Running iOS 2, which is the first firmware that shipped with the iPod Touch 2. If you can please tell me what iOS it is running.
If I remember correctly, the older devices don't have the firmware signing protection, so you could flash any IPSW version you want. And there are workarounds for newer devices, like I could downgrade my 4S to iOS 6.
@@Claude_Lib that only applies to the first gen iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch 1. Also I don’t think the iPod touch has any downgrade methods like the iPhone 4s and 5 do.

That thumbnail is really stupid, all iPod touches have that TH-cam app other than the 4th generation unless it is still running an older version. But, the thumbnail is not of a 4th gen, because it had a black wallpaper, but the 4th gen had actual home screen wallpapers. So, your saying that every single iPod touch 3rd generation and under is a jackpot?
