Despite all of the shortcomings I clearly hear the difference . All things being the same the 200 is far superior, much more detail and clarity. IMHO

yeah but its 3x the price of the MP-110, not sure if it's worth it lol

It's impossible to compare cartridges like this. The differences between them are too minute and get lost on the ambient acoustics and background noise of the recording.

It's going to be far more difficult to tell the difference in audio clarity and dynamics when you perform an ambient recording instead of a direct audio I/O recording. Plus, with cutting the video on ambient recordings, we can't tell if you increased bass/trebble or other adjustments in volume when switching over to the MP-200. With direct I/O the system doesn't care if you increase volume or other settings, it just records it as-is which is what I would have done to be able to allow the viewers to hear the comparison better also without hearing the dog barking, and passing vehicles in the background. Not a good comparison video my friend.

Ok well send me some audio recording equipment otherwise, give credit were credits do. I took the time and energy to produce what i have for others to see the record and hear them in real world situations with different needles . you want pure digital comparisons your on the wrong channel so dont get but hurt , not a click bait or anything special. In order words if i had the $ I would have but I have other hobbies too that need attention. =0P So don't hate on my Bose surround sound system lol.

@@wizardz7938 It actually doesn't cost a lot to do analogue to digital conversion if you have a PC or laptop. You can get a good quality converter for $20-$30 (I have a Behringer)) which should be connected to the turntable via a preamp. If you stream the output to Audacity (which is free) you save it on your computer as a MP3 or WAV (uncompressed) file. I think you will find it worth it.
With the ambient recording route it goes through your preamp and power amp, the speakers, and a microphone which is probably connected to the PC. The PC's analogue to digital circuitry is notoriously low quality. This all makes it difficult to tell the difference in sound quality.
The cost of the analogue to digital converter is v. small compared to the rest of the hi-fi. I have digitised all of my LPs and have high quality music wherever I am.

@@wizardz7938 dude reminds me of my wife after I've gone out of my way to do something nice for her.
Both have no idea how much of a pain in the ass it is to do this, but want to critique from afar without doing any of the work .
      😂🤣😆
      Oh, the entitlement!
Thank you for this upload, brother.

I’m planning to upgrade the LP-120X stock cartridge with the MP-110. Is there a reason why you didn't use the original Audiotechnica headshell? What headshell did you use for the videos?
