Question: On one hand we have folks, who save, invest and build huge portfolios despite modest incomes-- on the flip side, we see millionaires and billionaires go bankrupt, why?

Very good information. I watch your videos daily but don't comment on every video. This video forced me to comment because every word you talked about is very important than the other. The health part is so true. No matter how much money you made, you can't enjoy it without health. You covered almost everything at high level what we need in life at different parts of the life. I am in 40's and exactly doing what you suggested.

Frankly in a volatile market as of now , ~12% return consistently is difficult ....
My 3 cr corpus got reduced to 2.4 cr due to stock market fall.
Forget beating inflation , its difficult even to protect capital in stock market as of now if we are not able to time the market .....and as it is always said its impossible to time the market ....
So out of 2.4 cr , I withdrew 60 lacs and preserving it as cash as of now till FIIS stop selling , Inflation gets controlled and the next rally.
So 12% return over a long period (averaged out ) may be possible but consistently 12% return may be difficult .

So true bro that why i diverted all my capital roughly around 3.3 cr towards real estate and gold since last October.
Nobody can give 12 percent return in stock market for the next 2-4 years of time.
I'm just trying to hedge my capital against inflation and volatility.
I don't know what this guy is smoking these days but even beating inflation is actually becoming difficult let alone 12%.
Lemme know how are you moving capital?
Liquidity is one of the key problems I face in real estate.

Hi @Akshat shrivastav if buying an expensive thing like iPhone car house for yourself bring joy and push us to do more hard work and work more with motivation. What is wrong in it . I totally respect your point mentioned by you that is the way you want to live But many have different perspectives in live ..
What you will do with such huge amount of money after 40-50 . You are just transferring your wealth to your son for free and that is why you are saving like crazy .
I totally respect financial independence point but like saving all money for future generations is not everyone priority.
You all finance TH-camr are making crazy money enjoying life and asking other to invest all hard earned money to invest in stocks and crypto which is just wiping out wealth . Forgot about interest, capital is also not protected . In the end market doesn’t depend on us . We are betting money in things which is not controlled by us and loosing money which might have given us some pleasure if we have purchased something from it .
Don’t make everyone guilty who has purchased anything from their own money which was earned by themselves

Hey Akshat. I wonder if this video is geared more towards Management Consultants or Aspirants, because the examples you give to make the base of your argument is- Have 2-3cr corpus to start with. MBA in USA and McKinsey job after that.
About 1% or less in entire workforce end up getting a consulting job. Now coming to second option, don't live in metros, try to live in non metros, boss salary is a huge challenge in non metro. unless you have a WFH option (I.T, Technology, Consulting etc industries). Let's say a Real Estate Sales Manager working in Lodha/Godrej or maybe JLL, can that person go to Jaipur/Indore/Nasik etc?
So it's good to hear all these points you make but RELEVANCE is not there for the other 99% people.
Hoping for some relevant titles for your upcoming videos. Otherwise love your channel in general. And P. S- your engagement for this video has gone up from my side by commenting (even though I have questioned your content 😉).
    Cheers.

In next 4-5 years I'm planning to save atleast 70 lac rupees as doing SIP's monthly and will turn 1 crore by end of 5 years. Thanks to Akshat for just letting me understand that i can also do it. When I started thinking how will I do it, o figured out a way to do it. Now just need to implement things. Excited for future 😀. I'll come after 5 years and let everyone know that I made it.

@@sonalichakraborty9396 put 1 lac per month into sip calculator for 5 years and make returns from it at 15-20%, that you can sensibly achieve if you listen to Akshat's videos and boom you're around 1 crore. It's all about the mindset like akshat says when you start thinking your brain will start giving you ideas to make money. So start thinking about it 😀

    You keep on saying build skills in your early 20s, but main question is what kind of skills? wheather it is Job orieted skills like making PPTs, Tableau, Excel etc or soft skills such as Articulation, Public speaking, Stock picking or something else. Hoping for a reply or prefferably video on this. :}

God!!! Not all can go to US and start working in Mckenzie. It is impossible. Hard working people, driven people and smart people can get into tier 1 firms. But all are not all the above. Most of the people can't even manage to earn jobs let alone in tier 1 companies. What about those persons who can't earn jobs or can't get into top firms? How will they earn crores? The cost of living, rent and other expenses takes so much of their income they can't afford to save much. Not all people graduate from Wharton or Standford universities. Only 4-5% can get into it. What about the rest of 95%? How should they earn crores?
