Good question. Logo Package Express used to be able to convert your colors to Pantone. That is no longer a feature because of the circumstances you mentioned. It is not a problem to type in a Pantone color as demonstrated in this video. That is simply you sharing information with your client, not Logo Package claiming to be distributing Pantone colors or using their copyright.
