The thing I hate about the Suzaku warriors is that, when they defeat an enemy, they do not make sure if they are completely dead. This happened with the wolf man too.
I don't think the wolf-man would come back to life if Tasuke burned it to ashes because the wolf blood in his veins will be burned too. So yeah, making sure your dead enemy stays dead forever is sensible alright.

I saw the scene of Suzuno and Tatara's spirits reunited in Anime America's top 10 romantic couples in Anime. I love this, and understand why Robin was crying, this made me bawl my eyes out.
All of the Seiryu use nothing but trickery in the entire series. They don't earn a single thing on their own through any form of hard work or merit. Yui sulked and stayed in bed all day long in the beginning while the Seiryu just magically appeared apparently because they supposedly "call out to each other" (speaking of which not sure why that wasn't applicable to the Suzaku), then they steal the Genbu Shinzaho right after Suzaku fought those two Genbu warriors to retrieve it. Yui uses the lamest tactic by spilling water on Miaka here (which looked super rehearsed btw) and says, "let me hold that for you" before running off with the Byakko Shinzaho. Seriously? That's such an immature thing to do. Not to mention Yui isn't present for a single battle. Miaka is constantly in danger, fighting along side her warriors, and Yui is always taking it easy somewhere complaining about how hard her life is apparently. I can't even express how infuriating it all is.
yui showed her distorted darkest sides out, just like the fake loving-hotohori miaka in the mirror early in the show. Yui did appear extremely naive, selfish & grudge-holding most of the show. in the end she'll change.
So sad, it's like my fairy tale "Even though we have married to someone else, deep inside we still love each other"...*heartbreaking *tears** My favorite scenes.. There's many love stories where you can't be with the one you love..
That is such a tragic love story😖Tatara and Suzuno love each other very much, even though they had to part and years has past. Finally they can be together in heaven😭
I'm really excited that the Suzuno Arc, another Fushigi Yuugi prequel, is finally coming out. It would be nice to see how Tatara and Suzuno's love transcended through time before this episode happened.

Accidently discovering this anime in an Suncoast video store when I was in the 5th grade was the best thing I've done in my life. Still one of my favorite anime series.

One thing I like about suzaku warriors is that if one of them is hurt, they all cared about it and also when nuriko died, they gave him a proper burial unlike nakago and other warriors who doesn't care about ashtare (he deserves it anyway)

Yep. But back then before the Genbu series came out, we did not know why she died. But now that the Genbu books have came out, we know that she had tuberculosis. To tell you the truth, she was going to die either way. But she pushed that aside to go back into the book and help the ones who she loved the most. Yes, she is a strong priestess :)

Apple Pie The "wolf-man" was dead. He came back as a full blooded wolf due to him being half wolf half man. His human side died so he became a wolf.
