  • Adding a two piece wood frame to a picture is an easy solution for adding character to any picture without having to put the picture behind glass and spend a fortune for an aftermarket frame that would fit a poster sized picture.
This frame is completely non destructive to your picture. There is no glue, no holes, not tape used to hold the picture in the frame. Easily change pictures in the frame to change up the look of a room.
This whole project took about a day and uses readily available tools.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the project!
Leave all comments and questions below and I'll try to respond in a timely manner to all!

Liked this idea very much. I have a map that would look great by doing this. Subed!!

Thanks for the sub! It definitely adds some character to a map and if you change your mind you remove the spline and your map is undamaged. If you have questions as you build yours don’t hesitate to ask me

Such a practical and simple way to mount these. I’ve fought for years with maps on the wall constantly coming loose. My Cub Scout son can do the entire build (except for the table saw cut, of course) and pass off some requirements too!

So happy this idea will work for you! Even better you’re getting your son involved…I love it!!

Nice way to display something you dont want or need a full frame. I have some charts in my shop that will have this made soon.
