Thank you ever so much, the beauty of it is mesmerizing, quiets my soul, turns, for a moment, the river of my life into a peaceful quiet pond..................... The lute has an adorable tone, sweet and gentle, yet masculine and sincere, thank you again one thousand times.
Stephen, very good interpretation. I love this piece, I learn to play it when I was 14 years, and now I still playing it everytime I play the guitar. The instrument you play is really awesome, I like it so much. How I can buy one like it? Regards.
Antique vihuela, lute and guitar. Probably some of the few things we've done right in my country. Thank you very much indeed, Luthval. Greetings from Castile and Leon.
Sir, a beautiful interpretation... I would like to know if would it be correct to play every diference with more time between each other... because I was reading the music and I would like to teach it in my music lessons. In other kind of music, we can wait between each variation, I don't know in this one... And sorry, my english is not my original languaje... congratulations!
@Luthval i look forward to hearing it then :) i love your lute playing though val, and especially the one you have. it has such a warmth to the sound.. the vihuela? is that the early spanish guitar? :)
@debs4mysweetbaby The vihuela have a very nice sound. It is the spanish cousin of the lute at the XVIth century. I made some videos with a vihuela a friend lend me, but I'll have mine on february... V.
Thanks a lot ;-) Why deleting older versions, because sound track with the video camera is not so good (a little bit too metallic) and with the zoom H2 sound is closer to the real sound of the instrument. ;-) Val
Beautiful the way you play it!!! :D :D You're reading while you're playing!!! AWESOME!!! How can I learn to do that??? I can read a music sheet but I have to memorize it in order to play it. I still don't know where to put my fingers in the right string and fret, so I have to look at the fretboard almost all the time. Could you give some advice on how to read and play? Thanx!
Yes of course you can wait more between each variation. There is a "fermata" at the end of each section. I perhaps wait a little bit more in my version on the vihuela... Best regards val
