Your video's are really a masterpiece Adrian, when I started watching it was because of the whole Brexit situation and the Farmers concerns, you show us what is really needed by the modern farmer, animal husbandry seems to be only a small portion of the skills you are required to have, you folks in the farming community are criminally undervalued.
Dutch Farmers are very concerned re EU regulations hence their demonstrations. At the same time It’s funny (not) how Europe wants to cut down on Beef production whilst allowing more meat to come in from South America where they in turn are cutting down even more rain Forrest because of the increase in demand for their beef. 🤔
@@stephennutkin2477 it's awful and farmers are so important, I share Adrian's videos to everyone I know as well as others, it's fun, they enjoy the content and it always starts a discussion that farmers deserve a lot more recognition then they get, hard work for little reward.
On the farm back in the 1980s we had a 1900s paraffin oil driven water pump in a building that was in a bad state, so over a couple of weeks we remodelled it into a steam engine, it had lots of locals wondering how a steam engine got into the field. It got replaced by an electric pump about a decade afterwards. Another farmer summed it up "aye, that's what happens when idle hands get some time" 🤣
Never a half measure with you Adrian which adds to the pleasure of watching you bring the pump house back to life restoring a natural resource back to home farm. 👍🏻
Absolutely nothing seems to phase you. It's handy to have a range of skills on the farm instead of relying on other people. That is some job on the pump house. It brings back memories of crossing the field on a winter night with a half barrel, to light a fire and attempt to keep the pump from freezing. Multi tasking and filming it can't be easy. Great video as usual. Thanks for sharing your week
This video showed all your viewers how versatile you are a very good hand to have around a farm it shows all you have had a very varied background and is wonderful to watch.
Really hand that well door came with a letterbox, ideal for your local postie to deliver any mail for any well dwellers that move in to that comfy abode 😉
I was just thinking there - luckily the floor area is a wee bit small, otherwise someone might be tempted to set up home! Water, power and mail all in one spot!
I really love to watch you build and repair. You are so precise with things and they always look so professional! I hope your daughters are learning from you.
My holiday job whilst in High School (in Australia) was to dig out Agricultural Irrigation Pipe Junctions and then add all the appropriate Pipe Connections / Pipe Junctions. Whilst I was doing this, the Boss and his Crew were busy burying the Irrigation Pipes across the paddocks. Whenever the Boss went looking for, Me he just had to scope the horizon for a Big Beach Umbrella and wherever it was I was working in the shade beneath it.
I am drawing inspiration from this video! I have a pump house on an out farm that I really have to do a bit with and I think I will follow your example and do the job right instead of just doing a patch up job on it yet again! Regards from Wicklow.
First timer on here. Laughed a lot that only a farmer would put a posh door on a bloody pump house . . . and then the dog fart story and I laughed even more. Well done - I'll be back!
Love the video Adrian. Nice to have a wee laugh with the dog and elevator story :) . Also your well house repairs is 10x better then what local council workers have done in years, Amazed!
The well house will need WiFi next.... then your sorted 👌 😂.. when you say you going to do a job you fairly do a dam good one.. get some filters put in the well house for the water save the pump and anything clogging up after it.. another great vid sir.. stay safe 🏴
Very official looking pumphouse with that new door! Had to laugh a bit when you switched the doorknocker around instead of ditching it. 😄 Made all kinds of sense to put that little concrete pad in front of it. The pumphouse renovation, even with still having to finish it up, is a lot nicer than some residental renovations I've seen! Great video as always, Adrian. Fun to see your two doggos supervising, making sure you've got it right, with an editorial phart as a opinion on the matter... 😄 All the best to you and your family from over here in the States - cheers, and have a good week coming up! ❤🚜❤🐄❤🌱❤
I really enjoyed that, as I can relate to all of your building work 👍 The lift story, wrong on so many levels 😂 As they say, the old ones are the best 😂
Adrian your some Grafter! Proper physical stuff and nothing seems to ever phase you. Must take some effort to film and do all this. Really enjoyable to watch vs guys going around in circles on tractors day in day out. My boys are copying what you do each week 😂. Your work ethic is inspiring. Can I ask what size of water tank are you getting?
Haven’t even watched this video & I’ve hit the thumbs up !! Been waiting patiently on this one for a while !! Who is for Sam this year Adrian ? Armagh I hope !!
Great videos look forward to them on a Sunday morning. We have a farm (horses not cattle)in cenral Scotland and I am looking to put in a 5000ltr tank to supply a pump to feed the yard, as the mains water pressure is rubbish. What pump are you using?
I farted inside the chamber in newgrange as they dimmed the lights, when the light came back on I was starring at a Japanese tourist and stood away from him. Everyone thought he did it 😅
Many questions! Who do you use to test your water and is there pump size specifications or is is a standard pump. Love the content pal. Iv an defunct pumphouse time to resurrect it.
Won’t be testing the water for a month or more after it’s used a bit and all the stagnant water is gone. I’ll have to do some research to find where I can get it tested, shouldn’t be hard to find somewhere. Pump size depends on the well depth along with distance and elevation to where it’s been pumped to. You have to measure all, there is an app called “ my elevation “ that will give you your exact readings. Very easy done. Then your pump supplier can recommend a pump to suit.
Nice bit of work there making the well house posh and homely looking Adrian, would this be in case Sinead gets sick of your farting and kicks you out? 😉😂😂

A lovely ‘front door’ - classy pump house with nice tasty water - mighty

What a great feeling of satisfaction you must have getting water moving again up to the house 👏👌
What does your dad think? Hope they're both ok 😊
Is there anything you can't do. I find it incredible that you can fix and find solutions for almost everything on the farms 👏👏👏

Fantastic work as usual Adrian. You have saved yourself a small fortune by getting stuck into jobs around the farm over the years

Comedy genius, 'farting in a packed lift, wrong on so many levels" 😂
That is one super plumbing job, I was humming the Monty Python's tune while watching a craftsman at work.
Great video Adrian that edging trowel is actually called a bull nose trowel

Irelands classiest pump house
Oh my word........😯😯😯😯, very swish looking pump house. Legend👌👌

What a Cracking job Adrian on the pump house hope you @ the family have a nice weekend 👍👍👍👍👍
When you cut any type of framing off walls, make an angled cut up into the material and then the cut doesn't bind when you lever a piece out.
First timer on here.
Laughed a lot that only a farmer would put a posh door on a bloody pump house . . . and then the dog fart story and I laughed even more.
Well done - I'll be back!
New viewer to the channel. You are one handy man and you have the tools to do the work as well. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely pure PERFECTION Adrian 👍💯🏆

Adrian I am not going to mention the elevator event to anyone. Thank you for sharing.🐄
Bit closer to Dublin and you'd probably ger 2500 a month for that 1 bed flat
Don’t doubt that 😂

Cheers lad, glad ya’s enjoy them. It’s a 9000 ltr plastic tank
Elevators are a bit like life. They're full of ups and downs. You could easily turn that pump house into a tourist attraction 😊
Good stuff
Great job adrain wel done

Haven’t even watched this video & I’ve hit the thumbs up !! Been waiting patiently on this one for a while !! Who is for Sam this year Adrian ? Armagh I hope !!
Armagh or Galway I think 👌
Why did you not make the step central to the door, is there a reason I'm not seeing?
Hi Adrian. Great video. Where did you get that pump unit from, and does it only suck the water down at limit depth or can you get stronger pumps ??
In the states we call the long heavy implement a Digging Bar.
The staff weren't looking very enthusiastic today 😂😂
Hi lad that was a great job 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You have a lot of jobs going on and looking good.
