    Jesus died for me, therefore I live for Him. This line always reminds me of the Glory of God when I grow cold, I also find it helpful to pray to God to restore that burning desire. He has never failed me and the spirit always leads me to videos like the chopping block to remind me that His army stands strong even though the world is dark and cold, His light will always beat the deepest darkness.

    This Chopping Block series is so edifying. Thank you, brothers, for putting these conversations out. I know many of us wish we had brothers that we were this close to that we could chop it up with, get into the Scriptures with, to stir one another up to good works and holy affections, and to glorify God with. Thank you for being an example.
    It reminds me of Ephesians 4:13-16 "...until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love."

    A new album with good theology, on point production, and on fire lyrics is what reignites me.

    Love these brothers! Such a great conversation. Especially when J is talking about when you aren't feeling it but doing it anyway. I used to struggle with that as well, and sometimes I still do. Good stuff guys! Thanks and Grace.

    Damn, I'm the same as Json when I'm cold, I think I'm being a hypocrite so I don't bother praying, but that is clearly wrong! It's always comforting when you can relate with someone who shares the same struggles!

      man, majority of us are like that. We feel unworthy after we sin and don't feel like we can approach Jesus, but he is there for us. Remember the Gospel brother/sister, he died so that we could approach God, after we repent and trust him! Be Blessed.

    I was listening to a previous chopping block about reformed theology and it looked like Tony was all by himself trying to explain his faith. I think reformed theology really complicates everything. As a Jew Tony stand firm against the lie that the church is Israel therefore Israel as a nation is no longer God’s chosen people. People who believe that choose to deny the obvious. God promised to regather the Jews from all over the world and He has! They went from dry bones like in the holocaust to a mighty army as described in Ezekiel 37. That’s an amazing demonstration of God’s faithfulness. If you are a believer and deny the amazing fulfillment of God’s many promises about Israel?!?! What’s going on with those of you who deny that Israel is still Gods chosen.? Wrong theology is so dangerous. Don’t be deceived read the Word without theological lenses. Get alone with God about this. We are to love and comfort Israel in their greatest time of need. And we do. But there are those that do not. It breaks my heart.

    About my previous comment, I know it’s off topic it relates to another video, I know we are in different places as believers so keep searching out the truth with all sincerity, those who seek with all their hearts will be led by the Spirit of God to all truth and righteousness. I recommend Amir Tsarfati on the topic of Israel and how reformed theology does away with Israel as God’s chosen people. Jesus said I WILL build my church not “ I have ALREADY built my church and her name is Israel “

    christian rap is corny just like bigfoot rap would be corny

    • @denno3124
      @denno3124 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I used to think the same as you...until I "accidentally" listened to a guy I didn't realize was a Christian. Saying Christian rap is corny is like saying Christian food is corny. It's not the food that's Christian, the cook is. The food is just the outward expression of his life. I rapped in the world and the Christians I listen to have skills, period. The difference is the anointing. The skills were already there.
