Adidas takedown models have been hit or miss for as long as I can remember, but this year, some of their new stuff looks promising! In the case of the $150 Adidas Predator Accuracy.2, if you didn't know any better, you could be fooled into thinking they were the $250 Accuracy.1. And that's not just because of the way they look, because from a tech perspective, the two boots are almost identical! Sounds great right? Well, there is one issue, and it's so big, it might be a deal breaker! Even worse, I think they did it on purpose! We discuss the good, the bad and the ugly of the new Predator Accuracy.2, ultimately concluding whether or not these takedown models are a great value, or ones to avoid. I find the heel bit very comfortable i think it’s just personal preference so i’d rather if they didn’t change it
honestly, I've owned both nike and adidas boots and I might just not be great at noticing stuff like that, but I've never noticed the shallowness in the heel. So that kind of makes this a great option to me because of the 4-5 adidas takedowns I've worn (mostly .2 variations) don't actually feel that different from the 3 nike boots i have. I'll only get it if I don't get the top-of-the-line gx (hopefully my first top end model).
Some are definitely better than others, but these are some of the most shallow through the heel that I’ve ever felt from them. Like I said in the video though, I think some people will be able to get a comfortable fit 👍
I bought them about a month ago and it fits perfectly except for the heel and I get blisters every time I don’t tape my heel

Sorry Josh! Think you've got it wrong on this one regarding the shallow heel!! Just got these last week from Adidas, I don't usually wear takedowns models but as they where free, I thought why not🤷♂️ fit is perfect just like the top tier model! So id say to anyone, buy the. 2's !!! Its a no brainer
Like I said in the video, I think they can work well depending on foot shape. The shallow fit through the heel compared to the Accuracy.1 is significant though. With one on either foot, the difference is huge

Josh, are the .3 version with laces any good?
I have a lot of adidas apparel, but not any football boots. None of them do it for me. I really wish they did though. The new Copa is the only possibility for me.
What material does it have behind the insole? Hard cardboard like?
My mid foot and heel area are so wide that the accuracy.3 feels like a perfect fit at 9.5 where as most other 9.5s are too short and I can't even fit my heel width wise without struggling. I may be one of the outliers that is benefitting from this takedown flaw because I have wide feet and I can wear synthetic boots potentially bcus of the shallow heel.

I love these cleats, as I have them. The only thing bad about it is that I have to use a shoe horn to wear the cleats, but other than that, they are amazing!! And I have wide feet as well
the adidas copa sense.3 was the first and last and ONLY time adidas addressed the shallow fit problem

Hey Josh, I currently own the Nike Vapor 14 pro, it gives me blisters at the back of feet. I’m not sure if it is because my feet are too wide or not, I bought them a half size bigger than my regular shoe size.Any suggestions for what to buy as my next boot? Im currently in the market for a new one.

Honestly after seeing this video im more convinced that Adidas really losing their effort on Predators, infact they keep focusing on marketing and advertising to sell all these expensive products for non pro players (yes, like us..), considering all the features only make 10% or less effective when youre not playing at top levels.
Funny that if you compare to any Predator 10-15 years ago, you already feels like youre playing for semi pro when you owned a 2nd tier Predator, quality wise were so much higher and it sustained for at least 3-4 years even you wear them intensively

Biggest question I have had still can't find answers is the turf versions of these boots. Is the Accuracy .1 tf the same as the .2 fg just with a different sole? I have yet to see a review of any of the new predator in turf.

The structure of the heel part of the boots and where the boots grab you heel are both very low. Lower than most other football boots or shoes in general.
I ordered .2 and my size is 8 so I ordered size 8 and idk why it’s kinda small, did this happen to everyone?
