Adidas Al Hilm Unboxing - 2022 World Cup Final Matchball

Since the Al Rihla was released, I have wanted to try out the new Adidas panel structure to see how it performs. Despite liking the normal Al Rihla and the powerorange version, I wanted to wait to see what the knockout ball and/or finals ball looked like. Thankfully, Adidas decided to not make a knockout ball this time around and instead released a golden finals ball. The ball looks fantastic in person and online, and I think that this is going to go down as a classic matchball! I'm gonna be using this ball very soon, so I'm looking forward to giving you all an update on how it performs!

Guess it's gonna be good for a dip and curve shots, but not so much movement (lefr-right)

Yeah I think you're probably right. I've heard that the ball has a bit of a weighted feel to it, so I bet that will make it easier to achieve shots that dip. With that being said, if it is anything like the Telstar, it should be able to knuckle plenty 👍

Hey JKI, I got the original omb for Christmas and played with it today. The al rihla is really pingy and heavy at the same time. The design is sick! It will take time to get used to since it is my first omb. Unfortunately it doesn’t really knuckle tho. But looks great 👍

That's awesome! I'm excited to try mine out in the next few days, especially after hearing what you said. I like a ball that's on the heavy side and that's pingy. That's a great first OMB to get though, because like you said the design is great
