It's easily one of the saddest moments in film history.
Dumbo is truly a heartbreaking tale that will make anyone cry, laugh and just feel so good after watching it, truly one of the unique movies Disney’s done in years.
Baby Mine is arguably the most beautiful song ever made in the 1940’s

When I was little, I used to watch this every second I could. So i ended up breaking the first VHS and my mom had to go get me another. Lol. But when I was 5 and she passed away, the scene where he goes to see his momma always gets to me. But I still love this movie. It's my favorite Disney movie. ❤🐘

I think honestly the most moment of Dumbo that scared me was pink elephants I was little the song used to scared me it reminded me of Heffalumps and wozos from Winnie the Pooh and that song still scares me today. Seeing Dumbo and his mom also made me cry when I was little I’m definitely going to go see the new version eventually and I’m hoping that it will be as good as the original
I loved this movie ever since I was little. It is my all time favorite Disney film. I love everything about the film Dumbo. This was a huge part of my childhood.

When Mrs. Jumbo was restrained by the workers, I thought it was more scarier than the pink elephants scene. Still, like the Stromboli scene, I overcame this scene in due time.
I always loved this movie, but when I was a toddler the scene where Mrs. Jumbo goes mad and the falling of the pyramid of elephants scared me too one of the reasons was the loud noise.
This movie just touches my heart on a whole other level now that I'm a mother myself. 💗

Dumbo flying at the circus, I knew it had to be number one! I’m glad he reunited with his mother. I even love Baby Mine and Pink Elephants of Parade. Not only Sterling Holloway voiced Mr. Stork and Pooh, he did Kaa, the Cheshire Cat, Roquefort, and Adult and Flower. I love that movie. He really is adorable and cute! Looking forward to the Tim Burton version!
Dumbo was always my most favroite Disney classic.
I mean yes Bambi's mom and Mufasa dying are sad scenes but Mrs Jumbo being restrained and torn away from her child is flat out traumatising. Although not as traumatising as those pink elephants...
On #4 Dumbo's delivery, I have the theory that the stork actually delivered the wrong baby. To me, Mrs. Jumbo and the other circus elephants look like Indian elephants. Indian elephants have smaller ears than African. See where I'm going with this? So I'm thinking maybe the stork delivered Dumbo to Mrs. Jumbo by accident and some lucky African lady got an Indian baby instead.

It is funny but my tearful moment was actually when Dumbo and Mrs Jumbo wave goodbye at the crows
I always say the crows as teachers and given Dumbo the confidence to be something Just to wave goodbye at them was really heavy
It Does break my heart 💔, that Dumbo was mistreated, & taken away from his mother.

Casey Jr. was my favorite because not only is he my favorite character from ‘Dumbo’ and all other Disney characters he’s also a train and I love trains!

Pink elephants on parade is my favourite part in all of Disney's movies they even keep it in the remake *spoiler alert*
They do a bubble act and it has the bubbles turn into pink elephants from every scene of the song it even got me toe tapping and humming the tune!
Even to this day, ‘Baby Mine’ still makes feel like crying whenever I sing the beginning😢

I enjoyed every scene in this movie from Casey Jones Jr to I see an elephant fly. It made me laugh made me cry even surprised I never forget the feeling when I first watch it. PS, I don't care what people say about the crows I enjoyed that scene a lot.
Who else believes that boy who tormented Dumbo ended up an ass on Pleasure Island?
I used to think he resembled Lampwick.
The scene is when Timothy Mouse befriends with Dumbo is my favorite Disney Moment.
This film plays dirty with my heartstrings 😭❤️.. i am going to be such a mess when the Tim Burton live version is released!
As sad as it is the whole swaying from side to side thing Dumbo and his mother do when they are separated and alone is something real elephants actually do when they are stressed and kept isolated. They are a social animal and it really messes them up to be kept alone.
My favorite scenes I guess are "When I See An Elephant Fly" and "Ah Ah Ah Ahhh! Ya gotta come out foist!"

For me, what gets me when the Baby of Mine sequence appears, it's when they finally reconnect, Dumbo can fully comprehend how much he'd missed his mother. This is when the waterworks began for me

Went to see the live action version yesterday and I had tears in my eyes on a few occasions.
I cry when Mrs. Jumbo was separated from Dumbo 🐘
Same but I also wanna turn around and give those kids (especially the red-headed one) a piece of my mind for messing with and making fun of sweet lil Dumbo!
Shockingly, Pinocchio and Fantasia didn't prevail at the box office. So Dumbo had to be released on a very small budget.
Its also the shortest of Disney's classic 2D films, coming in at just over an hour long, I think the live action remake that's coming, will not capture the magic of the original in anyway!

The ORIGINAL Dumbo is a masterpiece of charm, simplicity, pacing and excellent character development.
Tim Burton understands NOT ONE of those things.
He really threw acid onto the original masterpiece.

Casey Jr's been my favorite Disney character since I was a baby!!! I love Casey Jr a lot!!!!! I even made some cartoons of him on my channel if anybody wants to check them out!
I love the pink elephants song and the work all day work all night song is cool too, and definitely baby mine. It was funny that all of the elephants were so sassy lol. I also liked when dumbo got a bath from his mom that was my cutest moment with him I think. Also liked the crows it’s annoying that people bring them into controversy and it gives them like a presence in the film that a lot of films in the 1940’s didn’t do in a nice way.
Honorable mention(s) Timothy scares the elephants, the parade scene, the beginning or the storks come in and you get to see the baby animals, and the very end we're dumbo gets reunited with mrs. Jumbo
This video indeed deserves honorable mentions like these ones. Because there are movies like Dumbo (1941) that have so many moments of a strong level of quality, some lists of "Top 10 Greatest *insert works of fiction here* Moments" deserve to be bigger than a top 10 list.

recently saw the new live-action remake a few days ago. Gotta be honest, it wasn't bad but doesn't hold a candle to the original! It'll always be a classic. at least through eyes.
If pink elephants isn’t #1 I’m suing.
It's #3 on that list. That should be pleasant enough. I'm not saying that the Pink Elephants on Parade scene isn't at all a work of art, I'm just saying that because there are so many moments of the original Dumbo that make it a great film, we'd see much more of a point making completely favourable (outside of a few racist stereotypes that are NOT the crows that make the film really show its age) reviews of it.
