@@JosieRuiz-y2k The Aether Core in his body is probably what makes him "immortal." Maybe he loses that somehow and then "dies" as a dragon, only to be reincarnated as the Sylus we know today. I'm theorizing that like with Rafayel, Sylus also wrongly believed the MC betrayed him and stole the core, which eventually killed him. That's why we see so much blood on her hands in the flashback. But again, she's misunderstood and probably didn't betray him or any of the MLs on purpose.
I love that he is a dragon but not a vampire, it suits him. He is very gentle and loving. Also I will be broke after this event so whatever comes after this I will be super broke to pull lol but it’s okay, Sylus will be worth it ❤
@IseulKwang I'm also happy about it. I was a bit "worried" they would make him a vampire or a devil. I'm glad they went with this. The protective side and the i collect things and protect my treasure aka MC, suits him. And I love that there's still that idea that even though from the otuside he has the reputation of being a villain, he's so misunderstood, and loving . It's tragic for him and hard on my heart but Good writing!

The graphics, the story line and all the links between past and present (Aether Core, fate, bounds, the marking, the dynamics-first a villain and then she realizes he's not, a deal and it goes on and on...it's just so good).
the edit is so beautiful, and the song!! i already saw the trailer earlier today, but damn.. halfway through your video, when i saw sylus laying in a field of red flowers.. i got goosebumps.. it was like i had truly seen this scenery for the first time; time and time again it catches me by surprise how tender sylus can possibly be ♡ completely defenseless and trusting,, ready for the fall, while wearing his heart on his sleeve~

The blood on MC's hands in the flashback and the harsh way Sylus treats her when they meet in the current timeline leads me to believe that _he_ wrongly believes MC betrayed him by stealing his core, which would eventually kill him in this myth. It's kinda like with Rafayel, where he believed MC stole his heart and caused the downfall of Lemuria when in fact he willingly _gave_ the heart to MC to save her. Sylus also probably forgot the part where he willingly might've given up his Core and sacrificed himself to save her. The betrayal theme seems very common with all the MLs and their myths.
@perfectgamerkitty I have a feeling you may be right. I'm working on another video. Yes, I can't stop myself. And in chapter 2 , after the Aether Core breaks, he says something like well yes, since you took the power it broke. And it immediately think of the core on his heart, which comes back to your theory. I do agree it's very possible this has happened, and that he forgot he asked her to do it. Because his voice does sound quite accusatory and rough when he says it. I also believe it's possible he became immortal because of that protocre and his death. We'll see but I have so many theories !

It’s his mythos. Specifically his and MC’s past (or that’s my assumption at any rate). It’s essentially his lore that goes along with the main story. If you haven’t done his part of the main storyline, you might want to, just so you have a better understanding of present day Sylus, before delving into his past.
