Polaris Ride Command! 2019 Ranger XP1000 Northstar Purchase Update!

- 04-08-19, Join me on my adventure and see how things go with looking for an exact Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar model. I'm taking my 2016 Kubota RTV X900 in for trade in, so we'll see how that works out. This was a long day and a lot had to happen for us to find the exact model that we were looking for! Which, by the way is a Ranger XP 1000 Northstar edition, cab UTV, Camo color with the Polaris Ride Command GPS Stereo unit. The Ride command was a must have feature for me because I hope to do some trail riding and mountain riding at some point and the built in GPS will be extremely handy! (Not to mention the Bluetooth radio and am/fm). The newly designed 1000 Ranger is simply a Bad A$$ machine, and I can't wait for the pick up! I’ve had the Polaris crew for two years. Love it and great to have the size and room - can sit 5 adults easy, plus cargo in the back

You wont regret it, Polaris is the top of the line. I love mine and it has never let me down in all kinds of conditions plus it has the power to pull just about anything you need to pull, a real work horse. I have pulled stuck tractors, trucks out of the mud and its always came through. I think you will be pleased with your purchase.

Great video you are going to love this machine i have a 2018 General i have had it a year and have put 1200 miles on it Polaris makes a great product have a great day be safe.
You're a lesson in my book. We never stop learning in life and you've taught me something. My Kubota is just as high in the rear and the interior of the unit you bought is much nicer. I'm wishing I'd waited now. lol.
lol thanks. Any time I can encourage a positive move up I'm ok with that! But Kubota is a nice machine, just depends on what you like! They hold trade in and resale good though...... :)

Congrats buddy i have the same machine myself. I love the rear camera for hooking up trailers and the trail ride camera in the front. I would also recommend the rear bumper protecter along with the cab protector along the bottom of the cab. If you go over rocks or back into something it'll save your day. You are gonna be very happy with this machine.

@@johnsmick927 We sold our investment farm, not the farm that we live on. We are in the process of looking for a place in KY, but this is more for a long term Plan A,B,C, & D plan to have the option of moving to KY if/when things get to an unacceptable lever here in IL. Make sense now? Thanks.
The kibota is a little clearer than the last time we saw it lol if all else fails I agree with getting it wrapped with cameo!!

One thing to add you did the right thing on getting the camo. Running through brush every day the camo doesn't show any scratches, the shinny surface model may be pretty now but when you work one and get a little wear and tare on the machine the camo finish will look just as good as it did when you bought it

If I were in your place, I'd take the metallic gray one,..I like that color better than camo. But hey, I'm not you, and of course, it's your choice.

The Bluetooth is going to be nice for hands free talking if your phone has wireless charging there are phone mounts that have wireless charging so you don't have to worry about a cable

Hey Kapper - could you make a video comparing your experience with UTVs? I’m sure a lot of us are in the market (including me) and have thought electric could be great for hunting and the utility of the RTV handy. Would be great to get your perspective when the Polaris arrives.
I do plan to do a Polaris, Honda, Can Am comparison for why I picked the Polaris. Not sure If I'll get around to an electric comparison, but I'd stay away from Huntve and Bad boy! IMO.... Thanks and good luck!
You will like the Polaris. The Kubota RTVs are made much heavier but are so slow and more like a tractor. I have had both. I've had issues with Polaris quality but I believe they have improved

Camo is the camo too. Man those doors are perfectly designed. I really hate my dad's Massimo from tractor supply. Loud, rough ride, hard to get in and out of.

oh heck yeah, you will, but when I get the machine! LOL They have it now, and all parts are ordered for all the add ons and mods. The factory parts arrive Wed, so hopefully by next weekend! Can't wait! thanks man
I had bought a Kubota rtv 1100 with cab ...AC/heat... snow plow....winch the extra hydraulic connectors in the rear. I got that because of the accident I had that put me in a wheelchair. I have a 1000ft gravel driveway to maintain . It kept me warm and dry in winter and nice and cool in the summer. Unfortunately I had to sell it to by a wheelchair accessible truck. Now im in the position to be able to get another one. I was thinking about the Kubota but now after looking I want to go with the Polaris 1000. The kubota only has a 25mph top speed so not very Ideal for trail riding so thats another reason I want to go with the Polaris and the hand controls I had in the Kubota are supposed to work in the Polaris. Anyone who has or had the Polaris did you like it.? How is the power and speed? After watching this video Im really wabting to head to the dealer
Well, I can guarantee that it has the power and speed for sure!!! The thing is pretty dangerous there is so much power. I've seen other channel reviews said the same thing, so power should not be an issue. I predict they will all copy and start coming out with full cab and AC in a couple years. Just Camo Wrap it.... Will protect the paint and increase your resale value...
I do want to camo the top, and get a camo rear window one way cover...
what i was going to say yesterday was, i am sure that the dealer could have the machine wrapped with a camo wrap, and it would look the same.
eh, I don't think so... for future resale if that stuff is peeling off, then you get knocked way down... This worked out, just a little more work on their part, but they now have a new customer for future service, trade, in, etc. :) thanks
I won't pick on you about to coffee and cookies but as far as the Polaris goes would it not be easier to find a camo decal package for it
Possibly, but we found one, and original cam is going to hold value much more then a decal package over top of a nice paint job. thanks.
I'm guessing for the drivers sake it's six hours round trip, if not you owe that driver a case of beer (versus a half rack). ;-)

lol, well, you'll see when I do my comparisons why I did not want a Honda! Or Can Am... They are all good machines I'm sure, but I had my reasons based in logic :)
Now, a new ride to hunt for some new KY buck country. Heck yea, Ryan is going to need another house to build. I don't see anything wrong with that idea. I hope you don't take it out and try to teach it to swim like you did with the other one. :-)

No not junk, but I did not like the way it operated at all and it had a flaw that some 900's had, uphill you couldn't mash the throttle or it would bog down. Kubota did nothing to remedy that from all the other's that I've read about. Otherwise it was a great work horse, just made to go Sllooooooooowwwwwww thats all
