Hello there, The BSA A50 Cyclone was sold in England and they sold 46 of them and all U.K. Cyclones had close ratio gearboxes. The correct designation for a A50 Cyclone is A50.D. If it's a U.K. Cyclone the designation is A50.D.C. The C is for close ratio. Not many Cyclones made and only sold in 1964 and 65. The rarest 500 BSA A50 is the A50 Wasp which was a off road smaller version of the Hornet. Designation A50W And they came in a pale blue colour. They only 17 of those. Cheers.

Have always liked the A50, in any designation. Nicely finished engine on the unit twins. Very nice. 👍
Lovely bike. It doesn't look dated, just looks and sounds nice. It's why there are so many retros about these days.
Nice bike. Never seen one before.
Never ever seen a cyclone in the flesh. I think BSA did list them in the UK also a clubman version.
Very nice that is not seen that spec 👍👌
Sweet bike 🏍️
