I kinda see what they were going for with the transition from bright happy colors on the left to darker colors on the right, but I agree that it doesn't feel like "doomsday". Also the random pops of brighter shades like the teal just hanging out in the middle makes it feel less cohesive. I feel like there was a better way to lay it out that made more sense.

I feel that reusing the shades was the right thing to do. What is so sad about it? the end of the world theme should have, imo, been one palette in 3 sections: toxic, rapture and crisis or war or something. toxic would be the poison colors, neons, radioactives etc for the nuclear/pollution/pandemic (yikes on including that so maybe not that one but realistically it is a major way to end humanity) endings. rapture would be firey red and orange, dark smoke and charred earth for the religious rapture type of ending, and crisis/war would be military shades, maybe a solar flare yellow, alien or greed/money green, etc. for the various other chaotic endings. not only could each of these be pretty aesthetic together especially when the right colors are next to each other, it's well themed and can be diverse in shades and types. it's also worth pointing out that even if they had a better design like this, the quality itself looked like hot ass 💀 chalky and lifeless. no design can save that

I was so underwhelmed by the pallet I can’t even lie I was thinking exactly what you said there’s 0 color story whatsoever just like the first one. And it doesn’t even remotely fit the theme they were trying to go for it was just a bunch of random colors thrown together. I don't want to sound mean at all... even though Chris is funny and happy, he's not a great videographer. He's shaky and makes too many sounds against the camera, not great angles etc. He'll learn and get better, but he's Def not as good as Andrew. They make beautiful eyeshadows, stunning palettes, but they do not align colors in the right way, they clash the way they assort them. I'd actually love a few of these colors, so it's a real shame!

But because it looks like such a mess I wouldn’t touch this regardless of if it was made by someone I like (I can’t stand Jeffrey) I wouldn’t buy this. I thought this episode was by far the worst. 😂 Shane is sentimental (genuine or not) and Jeffree seems so heartless ? It was like Shane was fishing for sentimental moments and Jeffree wasn't giving it. 😂 Just kinda felt awkward 😅
the end of the world theme should have, imo, been one palette in 3 sections: toxic, rapture and crisis or war or something. toxic would be the poison colors, neons, radioactives etc for the nuclear/pollution/pandemic (yikes on including that so maybe not that one but realistically it is a major way to end humanity) endings. rapture would be firey red and orange, dark smoke and charred earth for the religious rapture type of ending, and crisis/war would be military shades, maybe a solar flare yellow, alien or greed/money green, etc. for the various other chaotic endings. not only could each of these be pretty aesthetic together especially when the right colors are next to each other, it's well themed and can be diverse in shades and types.
it's also worth pointing out that even if they had a better design like this, the quality itself looked like hot ass 💀 chalky and lifeless. no design can save that
As far as no major TH-camr being cancelled, I have to disagree. I would say Onision was truly cancelled.
To me, that pallette looks like Bubble gum and Unicorns with a goth twist, made from sidewalk chalk. Definitely NOT Doomsday. To me, Doomsday would look like the Cremated pallette.

I have a feeling they’re eventually going to come out with a mini pallet. They obviously can’t do the whole pallet because Jeffree has already used some of the shades but so wouldn’t put it past them to throw some of them in a mini just to be able to sell something

Jeffree has a strong personality, a very proud person. I think they haven’t fought. Otherwise he wouldn’t have hired her again. I think he really understood her, since he saw what happened to Shane. I think he realized she really needed to rest. As for Nate, I think they had a huge fight and Jeffree would never take him back even if his life relied on it. But Maddie? I don’t think so.

I was so underwhelmed by the pallet I can’t even lie I was thinking exactly what you said there’s 0 color story whatsoever just like the first one. And it doesn’t even remotely fit the theme they were trying to go for it was just a bunch of random colors thrown together. Even with the first pallet I watched a lot of people saying they didn’t even know how to make a cohesive look with it bc there was 0 color story and that’s exactly how this one is but kinda worse honestly. I was actually kind of hoping it would be a little bit more cohesive bc In like the second video he showed that photo shopped pic on his phone of him making the first row and it actually made sense and the colors went together but then I saw the actual pallet and I was like oh so you’re doing this shit again lmao

I bought my first piece at Nordstrom Rack post pandemic. I’m big on seeing a product in person, before purchasing a product. I loved every product I bought, I get the hype. I don't want to sound mean at all... even though Chris is funny and happy, he's not a great videographer. He's shaky and makes too many sounds against the camera, not great angles etc. He'll learn and get better, but he's Def not as good as Andrew. They make beautiful eyeshadows, stunning palettes, but they do not align colors in the right way, they clash the way they assort them. I'd actually love a few of these colors, so it's a real shame!

Only thing shane lost was the ability to fool a big part of his viewers anymore, that is all that he lost nothing else. I was thinking he lost face or dignity but he never had that to begin with.
The palette looks like total shit. As someone who’s job it is to know and work with colours? This made me feel ill. I used to be a makeup artist and now work in graphic design and a few other areas of art. This is legitimately a joke. It looks like the worst shades of many pallets thrown together. If the colour story was put together in a better way it would have been less cringe? But yeah. The shades may have looked good on a person. But because it looks like such a mess I wouldn’t touch this regardless of if it was made by someone I like (I can’t stand Jeffrey) I wouldn’t buy this. The good shades in it exist in other palettes in all honesty. The entire thing just looks so uncomfortable? It’s a huge mess.
